What gigachads! I hope we can rise again and not fail by the liberals and "reformists" in our movement! As much as we had hoped we could have started our own revolution in america, we must learn from both the mistakes in our past and the mistakes in the present if we want to create the truly free world we dream of into our reality.
Agreed, although make sure not to antagonize liberals too much. We might not agree with them but being too harsh will dissuade them from looking towards other solutions like anarchism.
@@ADHDisYippeeeeeeeeee We don't have to stoop down to them or change anything about anarchism, we just need to always be welcoming. Antagonizing them from the start is only going to make them not look into anarchism in the first place.
@@123four... I am sorry, this is exactly the type of thing we need to be overtly against. If a liberal stands against us rising up for our liberation and you trying to appeal to their status-quo then we won't ever get anything done. And historically liberals hardly ever get any real change but rather active minorities that stand against that status quo. Caring about appealing to liberals when they are so easily tricked into falling to establishment lines makes the unreliable at best and thus we should seek to work with fellow anarchists first and foremost.
We shouldn't have to stoop down to liberals levels and deradicalizing ourselves to be as acceptable to them, we need them to start standing up to ours. And a lot of modern drama on the left and infighting has been caused between radical far-leftists and liberal reformists trying to appeal to liberals and deradicalizing themselves so as to be socially acceptable to liberals and liberal issues. Which is why we have so many "vote blue no matter who" types, as if the spanish anarchists shouldn't have had risen up and just instead become submissive to the states will to achieve anarchy.
@@123four... Well we shouldn't seek liberals then, revolution almost never comes from the status-quo, or working within it, but rather active determined minorities. We should instead focus on working with other like-minded individuals rather than trying to convince centrists who simply never will care about the struggles of the oppressed or which will hijack the movement for liberal issues and first-world problems all the while the world is at the risk of ending in its entirety due to rapid climate change. We can't just compromise and vote the "lesser evil" for the next 500 years when we will probably not even last around 30-100.
@@ADHDisYippeeeeeeeeee But you have to consider why they are centrists. Nobody is born a liberal, it's not some gene you inherit. Generally speaking, people become liberals because they don't know what else to become. They just never questioned the lies that are fed by the government and all the systems propping it up. But ultimately, I think most people would agree with a lot of anarchist ideas if they actually knew what they meant. The issue is that most people don't know anarchism since it is purposely obscured through propaganda and lies. And while channeling marginalized groups is absolutely necessary for anarchism, everyone is ultimately oppressed by the government. Anarchism can not succeed if it's seen as some scary fringe movement that only "extremists" follow. There will always be opposition to anarchism but so long as we plainly put ourselves out there, show people that we aren't scary, and plainly show people what we believe and why we believe it we can at the very least open people's minds and get them to start questioning the status quo. Because in a sea of groups founded on oppression, bigotry, and domination, the one group that is based on cooperation, compassion, and equality will ultimately succeed once all of the fog is lifted. But that can only happen if we are open and welcoming. It doesn't mean watering down anarchism, it just means not treating people like they are a lost cause because they fell for the brainwash.
