Man knife laws suck. I have the yojimbo and yojumbo so kinda want to add this one. Look forward to the 5x5 you get and comparisons of that. That guys review was great too.

That Chicagojimbo is really freaking cool. I'd love one but don't have the budget for it at the moment. Also have a Lil Native, CRJB Mica, and Kizer Banish for when I have to venture into the city, so not a dire need. If I didn't already have a Lil Native, the Microjimbo or Chicagojimbo would be right at the top of my list.

@IllinoisDailyCarry it's between the Lil Native and the Mica for me. Mica is more fidgety with the button lock and IMO easier to deploy. Both have a forward finger choil to let you basically get a full grip, but the Lil Native just feels better. I got the KnifeJoy exclusive in S45VN and switched out the pink scales for red aluminum was and really like it. The Mica is AR-RPM9 so the Lil Native wins on steel too. But the Lil Native also cost me almost 5x what the Mica did.
The Banish feels much smaller than both, hard seeing using "almost like" a full size knife like you almost can with the other to. It's very fidgety too. For $45 in 154CM and Chicago legal, though, I still think it's a good option as long as you know it's limitations.
I'm a little outside the suburbs (near where I-39 and I-80 meet) so I don't venture into the city often, but always like to be prepared. And it's a good excuse to buy more knives. 🤷‍♂️

I will not pay more than $50 for a knife anymore. I have learned my lesson and my $100 and $200 knives give me just as much satisfaction as my $50 knives after awhile.
