If you love old Patches so much, why don't you build your own. You clearly have the talent. I love your rides. I'm a Ford guy but can see the great work done to any car. I subbed after seeing you with Bob the first time, a ways back. Back when Patches was still just getting started. Loved the video. You and Bob got a plan to fix what's left so can't wait to see that. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks Brian and we appreciate the support! I’ve been looking for me a model a coupe to build for a while now, I just got to finish some of these other projects first.
Super cool I just subscribed, love watching Bob build his rat rods. Just found your channel I’ll be following for more. And I’ll watch for the next one until then peace and chicken grease 😁😁👋👋😎

Wesley + Bob, and now you all really are all done but the finishin'! You know Bob hasn't pulled Red from out front of Elvira for several weeks! You all might need some of Red's insight to truly fine tune that Rat Rod to perfection! Just sayin'!
Hey good show so far ! Any friend of Rat Rod Bob is surely a friend of mine ! You guys definitely need to keep working together ! One question though, where's the oil in the U-jionts coming from ?????
We appreciate it! We believe it was coming from the plug in the yoke, after we fixed it the car has been in my shop for over a week with no drips so our fingers are crossed lol
But your master is below the height of the calipers and wheel cylinders, causing brake fluid to refill the master giving you a less fermer brake pedal. Look into it if you don't believe me.@@RatRodBobBuilds
Probably wrong but it looks like a nut is missing on the pitman arm. I can see the nut clearly on steer box side but not the other. I'm probably wrong can see it good. You guys are awesome tho keep the videos coming .
I have a 29 coupe I am building it would be helpful to know what rear springs you put in I had 180 s then 200 lbs it still may be to light . What spring are in your coupe . ?? Thanks
I used 100lb springs while building which felt right until the car was finished then they were to light. I ended up with 180lb springs. Keep in mind the angle the coilovers are mounted on makes a big difference. Straight up and down is stronger than on an angle. More angle = less strength. Notice the upper mounts on this build has adjustable angle.
@@RatRodBobBuilds My neighbor has gone through 3 of those amazon electronic distributors, price range between $60 to $120, they idle great and rev up great but on the test drive they cough and sputter on take off
im at 14.19... 2 things, the cam on the accelerator pump needs adjusted and or the power valve is to strong or to weak or there is a vacuum port plugged. im at 17.11 that carb is not big enough. With that cam I would run a 700 cfm. So send me the 650 holly and I will fix it for you. 😎🤒😎
I just put a v8 in a ranger … i got in my parts box and built a carburator for it and i just cant get it right .. ive ben building carbs since 88 but this one is kicking by hind end .. it hasnt been great … yet !!!!

@@KeyesKustoms thanks .. ive got it going my way .. after a 26 degree night about noon the next day it was 50 degrees outside i fired the truck up i never even had to pump the gas or anything and it fired up n idled … it had a off idle hesitation while it was cold but when it warms up ole carb is absolutely perfect .. im all over the top of having it perfect .. i may just quit while im ahead .. btw i failed to mention that the choke is wired open !!!!

Y'all will get it done . Bob can build um he can take a bucket of rust and put it back to gether.
lol this is true!!
go up on the power valve and use a smaller secondary spring, that will hwlp. Watch the jet size they are usually rich

Well never knew those yokes wasnt welded and just a plug and a metal cap interesting.
It was new to me also, I just assumed it was solid on the end.

Building hot rods will get you famous 😁
Seems ole Bob is pretty famous with hot rod lol
I fixed a similar problem with just one to two size bigger jets in the carburetor. If you havn't changed jets you can change jets.
That was the next step if the dizzy didn’t fix it lol
Ten four on the jets
Cool.
Thanks!!

2:26 I don't see residual check valves on the brake lines.
And you won't find any ABS sensors either!
But your master is below the height of the calipers and wheel cylinders, causing brake fluid to refill the master giving you a less fermer brake pedal. Look into it if you don't believe me.@@RatRodBobBuilds
It will stop on a dime and give you 9 cents back 😂
Why are you fixing that leak? Don't you know automatic rustproofing when you see it ? 😊
Rust proofing at its best 🤣
