- The US will soon witness the inauguration of country’s largest hand-carved Hindu Temple. BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Jersey’s Robbinsville will be inaugurated on October 08. This majestic Mahamandir is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan, a Hindu spiritual leader. The construction of this Mahamandir began in 2015 and it is set to be inaugurated by Mahant Swami Maharaj, and dignitaries. The inauguration will include a week-long celebration. Several US congressmen, officials with Biden’s administration, state governors plan to attend this grand ceremony. The temple in Robbinsville is spread across 185 acres, and over 12,500 volunteers were involved in the construction. Some volunteers left their jobs and dedicated themselves to the construction of the temple. The current Guinness Record holder for the world's largest comprehensive Hindu temple is the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi. Why was our culture peaceful and accepting, because some religions think their God is the only true God and who doesn't follow rest all can be killed. Whereas in Hinduism we believe God resides in everything, in us, in all living beings, that is why we worship a cow, we worship snakes, we worship a holy person, our parents, and even stone idols, cause if you really have devotion in your hearts, you will find god even in stone, that is the actual thought behind it. Hinduism had always advocated for intellectual debates there were many branches of beliefs and then they used to come together, they used to debate in a respectful manner, and in the end the used to accept values from each other, because everyone considered themselves a learner of this life and no one really understands what life really is.

From Ancient times, these structures were carved so intricately and so beautifully because, they were thought to remain there for as long as time goes and it will remain piece of art for all the visitors, even if they are devotees or not.

Yup, that's love. They'll tend to get more donations, just so that they can build temples. Who's needing them? In US? People need Malls, Cinema Theatres, etc., who needs temple. Right? BAPS is not a hindu organisation. Folks needs to keep this in mind, Iskcon is a western Abrahamic cult.
They don't worship our vedic gods, they have created there own "Prabhus" and worship them as god.
And also this is not a temple. A temple could be your mind or a small 1x1 wooden box where you have established A deity with due Prana Pratishtha.
And even the largest building made with Indian Temple Architecture don't necessarily have to be a temple specially if there's no god established inside with due prana pratistha.

In the shiva purans shiva is said to be paramatma and Vishnu the das… does that mean Vishnu is lower than shiva? No. In the same sense we can believe swaminarayan to be god. If you truly read texts and see the work swaminarayan Bhagwan did you would realize him to be divine or at least a otherworldly person worth to be revered 😊
