This is a great introduction to SageMaker even thought it's from 2020. I think it's been the first time I watched a 1hr+ TH-cam video from the start to the end :) Nice!
the folders in the repository has changed and are not same as what is presented in the video, unable to follow the video as all git codes are giving me an error.. is it possible to update the steps of execution in the description ?
Interrupting the trainer at every point is not a good way to host a technical show, it breaks the rhythm of both trainer and learner. Btw, Antje is awesome in explaining things.
Bravo! Fantastic exposition. Just wanted to add that a lot of those SQL queries can be replaced with python panda's library code of the form: # df is of type pandas DataFrame # eg print(f"The number of ratings that are 5 is { df[df.ratings == 5].count()}") If one wants to have preprocessing seperated out as a job, then I suppose athena queries might be ideal.
I think this will be the first best book to know everything of AWS ML. Content of the book looks very interesting and convers most of the things one should know. Thanks for the video.
I really wish the host stopped talking. Please keep questions at the end. Please never interrupt an expert because you would break viewers' and the expert's flow. Thank you though for the nice video with the expert. Please take it as a feedback
Check the description box of this video for a lot of free resources on Sagemaker and a free 30 days usage of Oreally platform to read Antje book.
I wonder why this video wasn't the first to be on the search list. Pretty amazing video.
For everyone trying to use SageMaker here in 2020 or onwards, this video is legendary.
thanks a lot :D
Wait for it...dary!!!

I cant ready data from S3 bucket in my sagemaker notebook using S3://... It keeps telling directory not found
I am very impressed, this was brilliant!
I really need to learn more before getting into this. Thanks!
very helpful, even in 2024
Nice introduction to SageMaker. Thanking you and Antje
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing. Thank you so much ladies!!!

I think so too!
Really rude for the host to not let the guest maintain continuity, really unnecessary interruptions.
Good overview, SageMaker is much more extensive than I realised. It will be interesting to go through the notebooks Antje shared.
great content, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
I ended up creating a double of myself once it went into autopilot.

So irritating when the host talks so much and interrupts the person at every turn..
Really nice and informative video, thanks for the sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
Eres Mexicana ?
Nop, de uruguay
Too lightweight for my taste, no offense intended.
Piggy back on real talent. So irritating.
