I’m typing while I’m listening. I’ve been in the food industry for over 40 years. The problem with the meat is that is has been frozen, thawed and refrozen again. Several times I have found grocery stores putting out frozen meat and calling it “fresh”. While its sad that they cannot do it right and give it away, they also have to worry about lawsuits. If you’re digging in weather below 32 degrees it’s more than likely been frozen for the second time. Hence the freezer burn. Be careful!

If they donate it they will only get 25% refund from supplier. Peeo pagtinapun nalang, matik ng 100%refund yun. At saka may kaso na po tungkol sa donated food like this. May isang store na nag donate ng mga ganitong food sa isang homeless or poor family. Something happens to that family(they got sick) and they blame the food they ate from that donation. They sued the store/company. The family won that case and the company end up paying the penalties. Ayun, lesson learned lahat ng mga store na may mga ganito, matik ng ipatapun. KFC, MCDO at iba pa.

The eggs might be risky with Salmonella if not refrigerated. All the frozen meat and seafood should still be good.
