You can go back to painting here completely detached. The first color, the first job is very simple. You see here simple tools. You can use a scraper and normal bristle brushes. I really wanted to try the parking disc, as a replacement for the scraper. But you can also use the nail brush, as you already know from the other videos. Have a look around the household, because the cake lifter, as I already showed you, can also be used very well. You apply black first and spread it rather at the edge, on the canvas. Then the turquoise comes and on the free places you give a sunny orange. After drying you continue painting. Small colour applications are painted over by bigger ones. The canvas becomes thicker and lines break through the surface here and there. Shapes can appear and inspire you to continue. Beautiful effects can also be created with the scraper - the parking disc. Turquoise, dark green, grey blue are the main colours. Some orange and red loosen up the surface. White lines, at the end take up the lines from the surface and set the accent. They also indicate the theme. Transitions are wiped, but also angular areas result in an evenly uneven picture. You can also see in the video how to make the paint run with water. Comparison in the book on page 98, and on page 16,17,18.

Du hast so eine angenehme Stimme, das ist wirklich sehr entspannend dir zuzuhören. Ich fange erst an mich mit der abstrakten Malerei zu beschäftigen, weil ich es so sehr faszinierend finde. 💜

Kann ich eben nicht. Das ist ein richtiges Handwerk und will geübt werden wenn man bestimmte Effekte erzielen will. Habs probiert (und ich mach weiter). Mein Respekt wächst.

Künstlerstreich Thanks for your response Petra. Is your book also talking about how to gain confidence in not knowing how things unfold and making a brush mark anyway? Or is it only about techniques? Diving into the unknown is pretty scary. With realistic painting there is something to look at. Not so with abstract painting.

it's comprehensive. everything plays a role. the technique only supports your own expression. but how do you start, how do you divide your picture, which topic do you bring into the picture. i put a lot into the book. whether it helps you then, whether you understand my words, whether they arrive or you can put them into practice, i can't predict. you have to decide for yourself.

Auch ich bin immer auf der Suche nach Gebrauchsgegenstände zum Malen, toll die Idee eine Parkscheibe zu benutzen. Freue mich jeden Sonntag auf dein Video, verzehre dein Buch und bin wieder mehr motiviert zu malen und aus zu probieren. Danke für dein heutiges Video. Mit Pigmenten und Farbmischungen habe ich noch wenig Erfahrung zum Glück ist in deinem Buch ja alles super beschrieben.
