The only complain I have is the strap is very uncomfortable. I used it for a holiday and it not only hurt the shoulders but the back too. It's too stiff and thick. I love it as top handle bag ❤ it's also quite heavy
I have the same 19 in goatskin and it’s my most used Chanel bag. It’s so carefree and you can dress it up or down. I also have a base shaper and an organizer. It has kept the shape of the bag very well. Highly recommend to use both things as well. Great review! ❤
I've narrowed my handbag preferences to top handles with straps and a back pocket. I have a few that don't meet that criteria, but for the most part they are the ones I shop for now. I have the 19 in the light grey and want it in the pink. Thanks for sharing.

To everything you have in there I need to add an asthma puffer, reading glasses, sunglasses and keys so I would definitely need a larger size if I ever decided to buy one. As I would be buying preloved it’s important to know this so many thanks.

I have 2 small Chanel 19, one black in goat skin and one baby pink. It’s such a nice and easy bag. Honestly I love the different tones of the hardware because it goes with everything I decide to wear jewelry wise. I wouldn’t go bigger than the small personally since it’s already feel like a medium bag!
I bought the large size online resale and regretted it as for my 5’5” frame it was too bulky. I eventually got it in a gorgeous emerald green in the small size and it’s perfect ! Just a heads up for those who don’t have a boutique nearby and are buying online 💖 Yours is gorgeous

can i know how you decided on the size? what made you choose the medium versus large? I'm having such a hard time deciding. i went this last wknd and the medium looked too little the large I loved but on me I feel its too large. i have 4 channel 19s in the medium but are color and they look just the right size for me. for some odd reason, the black looked small. i think I need to go back again and see.
They would never update the C19 as it was Karl’s last design so it’s now a classic for that matter. They do however could come up with a total new style or a seasonal bag that meets that criteria 😉

Great review. I've gone back and forth on this bag and ultimately I just can't get past the mixed metal chunky chain. I'm taller than you and the fact that crossbodying it wouldn't work also is a negative. Wish they'd tweak this bag. (However I haven't been using any of my CC bags! Only my under-the-radar Reissue.)
