I’ve been eyeing this bag for quite sometime. I love how it looks. But the cons have ticked all the items I don’t want of a bag. I’m torn. I don’t really baby my bags when I use them. But considering Chanel price, it should be taken extra care. Thanks for the great insight.

However, yes at the price point if the cons are relevant to you and your lifestyle it may not be worth it. Great video! I do the exact same things as you to keep the shape of my 19 bag (base shaper and organizer, putting felt underneath the top handle to prevent indentation when not in use). I’ve had my bag for 2 years now and it still looks like in excellent condition. :)

Ask yourself which goes more with what’s in your wardrobe now and/or what’s missing from your collection, do you need structure and can you see yourself carrying the bag for years to come. Just got this bag and love it! Quick question- is the top handle of yours like an aged gold/rustic?
Hi! Congrats on your new bag! It’s definitely not the same as the shiny gold on the classic flap. Softer and more muted for sure. I don’t want to say rustic as I think antique hah! If you’re on IG, send me a DM and I will gladly send you a pic of mine! Hope that helps!
My SA recommended that I lay my chanel 19 on "it's back" to keep its shape best. I do notice it left a little bit of a crease above the back pocket. I guess better than chain marks? I do wish there was a better way to store it. I got both inserts, too! Something that bugged me was the welding of the chains, they weren't all on the same side, so imo it looks messy. But that seems to be the standard for luxury nowadays.

I love the design of my Chanel 19 bag in lambskin.However, the wear and tearon this bag is outrageous. I already needed to change the metal parts as the gold color was almost gone. The corners are doen and it is starting already on other parts on the bag I use this bag very carefully with an insert and use leather conditioner that a regular basis, but I am afraid tot does not help very much,. My Chanel Boy bag in caviar leather, on the contrary, is an absolute dream as it is toally carefree!

@@HeatherLingerfelt I bought the Chanel 19 2 years ago, but have used it 10 to max 15 times. The Boy bag is older and I have been wearing it almost every single day. The difference is that the Boy bag still looks as new and the 19 koks totally worn as Chanel does not treat leather parts. The spa exists only for classic flaps and recently for the Boy bag. They ‘s better introduce the spa for the 19.

How old is yours and how is the wear on corners

The tackiness you mentioned is normal with all Chanel chain straps and it's disgusting, A lot of people have complained about it Chanel would not change because people keep buying their products no matter how poor the quality is.

Is it heavy to carry? Due to the large chain..
Hi there! It can be. I personally don’t over stuff so it’s not too bad. As a crossbody it’s definitely easier but if you were to carry primarily by the top handle it could be an issue. The plus side is that the lambskin leather is very light. Hope this helps!!

I wouldn’t utilize this bag for a MacBook. It’s definitely not built for that.
