Before everyone thought they needed ass loads of power to have fun. I would rather have one of these completely stock than a new Ferrari. Maybe I'm stupid, but in West Virginia where I'm from, you can't even used a Mustang to it's full potential on a back road. Everyone races their shit on the interstate, which I not only think is boring, but also completely reckless and ignorant. Old head comment, but you can't speed all over the place to have fun. Having fun within the speed limit or slightly beyond is just safer in general.
Exactly this, it´s hard to have fun in a modern car because the limit is way too high to get there without going insane speeds. Plus less feeling for the road. Much harder to learn how it feels when things starting to get loose. They have no idea how much fun it is to grind your shitty old car without having to go really fast.
this is why I love my D Kadett :D It's my first car (I'm 19, EU) and got my driving license in may and it's so fun to drive it as my first car (even though it has it's fair share of problems)
