Enjoyed the review, it's interesting to hear how different availabilities are in different parts of the country. I see Saz on the shelf at several stores per month, weller maybe once a month, blantons every few months, and EHT literally never.
@@WhiskeyRow I find it fairly easy to get the, what we Aussies would call mainstream US Bourbons here. We can easily get all the Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Wild Turkey, Blanton's, Buffalo Trace, Maker's Mark, etc here in our big liquor barns. Often, they'll stock rarer brands to test the market. I guess maybe there's more money in exports? Who knows but I feel sorry for you folks not being able to source your favourite Bourbons on a regular basis without having to time your liquor store visits to coincide with deliveries. There is a big population difference between us and you though. So demand at a particular store would be higher, leading to quick runs on sought-after spirits.
I love anything Buffalo Trace.....its really good. I am just getting into bourbon and I have been going wild trying to find some rare buffalo trace products. I had my father get me a bottle of Weller 12 year but hes in TX, so it will be a while til i get my paws on it.

Yeah, it has become an obsession for me... I love to go to different states and discover what is special and rare there vs what I can get at home

I love EH Taylor but I also have to admit I’ve never had Blanton. I wish I could find some close to retail.
