@Weeteg24 well really I never asked John about it. Its just freaking painfull, so I guess it must do something right. My back improved during this prep.... so I guess its working? combined with everything else? I will keep doing it. John told me the record is 180lbs for 2 minutes.

stretch them muscles out, the back responds well to intensive stretching while training, its worked for me. It also helps with the mind muscle connection because the back is a complex set of muscles and if you are just swinging the weights around you will never get any good growth. Form with back exercises is paramount not weight, and you should feel a good stretch on every rep.
in fact, if yo research FST-7 training (Fascia Stretch Training) you will learn that you can't merely stretch the muscle and affect the deep muscle fascia. This is achieved by creating an intense pump like blowing up a balloon and not allowing blood to escape the muscle- this is what, in turn, stretches the deep fascia surrounding the muscle bellies.
Is there any free mountain dog training guides out there? giving the phases along with the day to day exercises with sets? want to try this program but I'm not dishing out $600 for it
Wouldn't you think that t would be better to do Back Extensions on Leg day instead? I would just assume so because it really focuses more on the Hamstring's, like a Stiff-Legged Deadlift.
