Traffic does suck in summer. No way to expand roads. Not a lot to do on rainy days besides go out and eat. If you work nights, you got whataburger, dennys and waffle house, that's about it.
No big entertainment, you have to go to Atlanta or New Orleans. Parking is getting more limited during summer.
    The beaches are a positive.

Buddy, I really enjoy watching your videos. You have to tell the truth though. Fort Walton there’s a place that is older in construction and if you take out Shalamar, it’s like a place in Mexico that sucks.
I live off of 20 W. of Freeport and the whole Gulf Coast is growing. I would not recommend Fort Walton Beach or Fort Walton or even Shalimar because of the jet noise to anybody for any reason.
What I do recommend is for anyone that wishes to move here to have plenty of money. This area is very hard on working class families because a lunch can set you back because it’s a tourist trap.
For Walton is just not nice. You mentioned Destin is just down the road if you’re not living in a gated community it’s not that great either.
I recommend that you buy a high property and that you do not spend your entire year living on the Gulf coast in this area. You might want to leave when the tourist are high and the weather is very hot.
Go somewhere else do something else during that time.

Thanks for watching @rednose1966! Speaking of, Freeport has grown so much! The growth in Hammock Bay is just incredible, it's almost like a whole different world out there now. To your point, I suppose you'll like FWB depending on where you live and what you prefer. No place is perfect. Frankly, I love it here.

Hey if you love it keep what you have.
Freeport is becoming a stinking city haha. We usually have at least one homeless guy riding a bike in traffic. They don’t last too long. It think a lady was texting when she erased the last one.
People say things like they knew them and they were a nice guy.
