Decisive themes are surely one of the, if not THE, best things Villain Arc has brought us.
Such a huuuuuuuge improvement on the OG Steven Masters theme and although I think it was kinda obvious (cause SSR Cynthia) the addition of its encounter theme is just the cherry to make it gorgeous

I wish Lance got a Sygna Suit during the Johto Arc and a new theme. But I'm happy for Steven at least.
He got shafted... The other champions got an alt during their VA. Cynthia also got the first grid expansion instead of him. I'm hoping he gets an alt on anni. Cynthia and Steven already have 4, and he only has 2...
@@blueplue852 Cynthia 3. the only 3 trainers who got 4 skins (I mean, sync pair with new costume, not only changed the pokemon) are Lillie, May and Steven

Giovanni second theme is not the decisive, it's just call Giovanni (johto) theme lol.
but you got the point,lance along with leon are the most active Champions to fight evils, but lance always got bully by both company and fans lol.

No, Gio’s second theme in the Jukebox is called “Decisive Battle! Giovanni”
People can complain about Steven getting a fourth outfit but honestly if it was just for a Decisive theme like this I'm not complaining at ALL. (As a Steven/Cynthia fan I'm VERY happy that both of them got such cool themes for the Villain Arcs!)
Love that they’re making the encounter themes a major part of these decisive remixes. Also, it’s been a long time since I’ve actually played Masters; what’s the story context behind this outfit? It reminds me a lot of the outfit Wes from Pokémon Colosseum wears.
Steven is teaming up with Deoxys, so he decides to wear an outfit that matches it
Sygna Suit for the pairing with Deoxys, if you remember what those are.
they'd explain the full details in the story event starting tomorrow but as I understand it from part 1 and trailers, a meteorite has made it to Passio and made Groudon and Kyogre rampage, so a Mega Rayquaza would be needed to stop both the meteorite (Deoxys) and the RS legendary mons. Zinnia is paired with Ray but hers cannot mega (yet) so Steven who has a Shiny Ray from last year's anniversary goes to battle and eventually sync up with Deoxys while Zinnia handles the Groudon and Kyogre situation
Basically his suit is designed for “space expeditions” as he put it. Funny enough he doesn’t get to use it in space.

Its the most underrated song of hoenn
I like I more then his battle theme, infact I like most early gen character themes more than Masudas battle themes since they have much more personality and fit the characters way better
He may have lost to Ash but his charisma doesn't fall off.
Like, most players are still going for this guy after 4 different outfits.

For anyone wondering why Steven is getting that many suit alt and neat sync pairs, while he's not that popular in the West, he has a big fanbase in Japan. You won't see me complaining as he's my favourite character in the games!
I love the loop so much, this is easily one of the best themes in masters

I think this is a very good arrangement of Steven's battle theme.
Fun fact : Ss Steven is the first unit to have 4 trainer moves and also the first unit to not have any trainer moves (After choosing from one of its 4 trainer moves)
No, he has 4 trainer moves. Try This! is for Normal Forme, Attack! is for Attack Forme, Defend! is for Defense Forme, and
Faster! is for Speed Forme.
Technically, Oak post sync is the first sync pair to have no Trainer moves

Somehow I was initially expecting Giovanni to wind up with Deoxys or something (maybe cuz of manga crap that has no significance here but would've been cool to see referenced/recreated). Steven has a shiny Ray *and* now Deoxys, thats pretty neat.

look at lance, 2 alts with the worst trainer moves,and also get nerfed in kanto arc(the worst villain arc for me)and johto arc(one of the best villain arc for me)to show how terrifying and cunning Giovanni does.
