I guessed 49/50 and my favorite of these metro systems is Stockholm:) Its fantastic that Stockholm Metro has a daily ridership of 1.2 million journeys in a city with a population of only 1.6 million people!
Very tough, but very fair and VERY entertaining! I got 23. Only one was a guess. I guessed that the first one was Rome, simply from the fact that the train was covered in Grafitti. I cannot think of any city in the western half of Europe which you missed. You even included Lausanne and Brescia. I kept thinking, when are we going to have Hamburg and Milan? They were the last two shown! On a broader point I have now been watching your videos for about three months. You obviously have considerable expertise on Metros. But on some other forms of transport (especially those in mountains) I am not impressed.
London and Istanbul were giveaways. I've ridden on at least a dozen of these systems, but only recognized Glasgow's from the cars. Lausanne is the world's smallest city with a metro; Jakarta is the largest without. Nice to see Lausanne included.
@@isaac9941 Looks like it just opened in the last couple of years. How much of it is underground, which is the usual definition of a metro? If Jakarta has finally joined the club, which is now the largest city without one?
I didn't get very many: London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Oslo, Madrid, St. Petersburg, Athens, and Vienna. Several of these cities I didn't even know had metros.
And I'll gladly admit that, excluding guesses, I *knew* three. One. Two. Three. London, Munich, Hamburg. I've been on the two from Germany...and the color scheme for London is pretty iconic.
I sucked during this quiz. I didn‘t expect to score well but i was surprised by my low score. Turns out there are a lot more metro systems in Europe than i though, seeing some commenters suggest 50. Before the video, i would have guessed 20.
Just like with the trams quiz, i guessed everything besides most eastern systems right. Those systems (soviet stations/trains) just look almost exactly the same except Moscow.
Very interesting, I knew manyof them. I will send you a wetranfer file with a film I made in Marseille last summer. You can use it in a video if you want.
I got 30. A lot of the misses were from the very very similar looking ex Soviet metros. They all use the same rolling stock! The only difference i could find war the Ukrainian metro logo on the front of theres.
I got 29 (: I missed almost all of the former soviet ones, all of the italian systems (I thought Rome was Athens since I knew they both have heavy graffiti) and a few of the French ones (I did get Paris, Lille and Rennes)
@@nicat041AYE the border between Europe and Asia in this region have variously been defined as either main rige of Caucasus, northen foothills of Caucasus or a complicated lines of rivers and watersheds roughly stretching from northeastern tip of the Sea of Azow to the mouth of Ural River. 6:20 the vinnia metro probably has the lowest ridership in the entire globe because of excessive covid restrictions and currently only fully vaccinated citizens can ride it,a huge discrase to the entire globe 🌎.

I got six; London, Glasgow, Paris, Madrid, Moscow and Vienna
I failed with only one correct....London. I guessed Rome (cause of the graffiti) and was correct. Thanks for giving us this test. 😀😀
I got 6: Lisbon, Paris, Budapest, London, Istanbul and Glasgow. Overall, I'm happy :)
I'm able to recognize Lisbon Metro just by the sound it makes ❤️

2:35 where are the platform screen doors on this Copenhagen metro station? Or this is a specific station without them?
Maybe they used on the underground stations?
