Pigeon Guillemots Up Close

I spent a wonderful morning videoing Pigeon Guillemots in the usual spot. They were very cooperative, often approaching me very close. I used this opportunity to take some tighter than usual clips. I put a few together here, I hope you enjoy it. There is some sound, the distant ocean and occasional birds.

It's great to watch again! I am fascinated by the chatter, I think what they talk about is both banal, and so very important at the same time. Constant, constant communication. "Everything's fine." "Fine?" "Yes, fine." "Nothing to worry about." "Nothing?" "Nothing, all is well." That's what I get. I would love to see some where they are disturbed.
