It was a great speaker, I was so hoping this would be the ultimate small portable speaker. I bought it 6 months ago & have been using it almost everyday, I wear it around my neck on a lanyard when walking & usually have it 75-80% volume when outside, after 6 months the speaker is virtually unusable due to excessive distortion even playing at moderate volumes. The 2 small drivers cannot handle the 30w power levels overtime, mine lasted 6 months. The speaker should have 1 larger driver like the boom 2 has to better handle the power levels. This is a moderate volume level indoor speaker. Damn disappointed.
Hi guys I have actually emailed soundcore about the motion 300 distortion before. Basically they told me that unless they get a bunch of complaints about the distortion they are not going to do anything about it because they don’t believe that the speaker has distortion. I don’t know why they didn’t believe me? They asked me to record the distortion I heard and I did. Nothing was done. This really showed me how much they really don’t care about their customers concerns. If you do or already did contact soundcore, I hope you get further than I did.
Yes and no. I actually have 2 motion 300 for better stereo sound and one rattles when the bass hits but that’s has nothing to do with what I was talking about with the sound quality. I mean that can affect the way it sounds to the ear yes but I was talking about the way it sounds even if it didn’t rattle. But both speakers have distortion aside from one of my motion 300’s that rattles. You know like I said they don’t both rattle.
But remember you can always use a radio app on your phone to stream to the speaker. I am not aware of any BT speaker on the market that has a radio built in.
Ruark R1 MK4 is an excellent bluetooth speaker with built in radio. It has better sonics , volume and airi bass than middle size speakers like jbl charge 5, anker soundcore boost,ue megaboom 4 and bose revolve plus. Be warned it´s expensive but is worth.
Go with ultimate ears wonderboom last for five years, now distortion it’s wonderful❤❤❤

nice try bose' employee 😂
i think bose does a good job in terms maining the good quality sound despite increasing the volume to 100 percent volume
Sound Core is pretty good but is no better than my wonderboom 2 from 5 years ago😊
Are the buttons touch sensitive or "clicky"? Thanks!
They are tactile so you can see, hear and feel them move
I just ordered this from AliExpress for $54 niw i regret not choosing this green colour but black 😢
I think your mic was clipping a bit, I can hear a continuous crackle upon the sound test.
@@ados1980cz thanks
Does it have built-in fm radio?
Nope
You need a much better microphone setup if you’re going to do speaker reviews.
