Hey - with the guys at the top (telecoms people, I can't remember what they are call, the ones who get the stories), I think it says during the introduction that they only do one story at a time as it's basically keeping open that line of communication and will only close that line until the story is complete or we discard it.

Yeah they do, they keep the line open which I think needs to change as once you uncover the story you should move onto another not just sit there waiting lol

Well done on the sales people. If used properly they really make a great difference in your bottom line. Sometimes its better to run a add than an old story, Remember adds can be matched with types of stories to give you a bonus when printing.
I applaud your commitment to the specialisation of your reporters even though it is impacting negatively on your business' and its bottom line. I'd suggest that you be more selective in the selection of your stories that you send reporters off to. You don't have tp report every story and the number of stories is only a guide IMHO.

Would it make sense to leave your security booth empty and only hire a person when you get mobsters or protests? Would that reduce costs?

Yeah for sure. Although I do see them changing how staff arrives in the future, like maybe arrive the day after hiring so this exploit can't happen.

Are you only allowed to print once a week, or can you print all the old news on Mon/Tues and the new stuff on Sunday?

Yeah you can only print Sunday. I do like your idea of an old news print. Maybe like an option to do a mini print mid week on a Wednesday with old news.
