My mother in law asked to borrow money and I just considered it a gift to her, and it freed up so much mental space and prevented relationship drama from happening. She eventually paid us more than she asked for initially, but there was no expectation of the money being given back. It’s so freeing in the mind and heart ❤
If someone, including my family, needs help and I am able to provide it... I generally do it but not as a loan, I do it as a gift without any expectations of anything in return. I don't loan money. I bless people in need when I can and if I can't... I simply don't give it to them.
My dad lent his sister her down payment to purchase her home. When my dad was ready to purchase his home he asked for repayment. His sister said that they didn’t have the money to pay him back. My dad was devastated. A few days later his sister and husband played the lottery and won the amount they owed my dad. They still have that lotto ticket framed and tell the story. God is good 😊
Don't lend money you can't afford to lend. It's ok to say no. You have to take care of yourself and your family. Try to separate your emotions from this objective fact. If you can lend the money and do, at least in your own mind, treat it as a gift and don't expect repayment.
My outlook on money changed when I realized that is better to invest on or before retirement, some people are just putting £15k or £20k With the current market movement at the end of the year they are making millions.
Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from x$176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!
I'm happy to hear that. I have loaned money to friends. We wrote up a contract, and they all paid back per terms of the contract. One must know the integrity of the person.
I lend money to family but then I think of it as a gift so if I don’t get it back, it doesn’t hurt the relationship. It does only happen once though. Example my son borrows $ 2000 and never pays me back, I will probably not loan him any more money. However my daughter borrows money and repays me then I have more to loan her in the future.
I live with my 27 year old fnd twins I try not share anything with them I dont get along with Skye but Anne always takes Skye's side and blam me aggressively blame me aggressively yelling at me but in saying this I won't co sign loan lend money I remember a while back my 26 year old married two children lives two hours away kep asking like $500 then other money I kept refusing finally she has stopped asking my 27 year old twins is married lives at home is doing driving lessons she spent all her savings on her wedding 18 months a go asked for money for car I said no
I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 385K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% annually in dividend returns. any good recommendation on great performing stocks or Crypto will be appreciated.

how would you recommend i enter the crypto market? I am also looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What's your take on this approach? and How can i reach her, if you don't mind me asking??

They still owed him money and were spending money on stuff like the lottery. That's not a good thing
Or they were desperate so bought a ticket and G-d did the rest
Wow! God is always good! 😊
Absolutely family life good health is a gifts from God
In an emergency love to help but I don't want to be taken for granted
Basically,
1. Don't borrow
2. Don't loan
3. Don't cosign
You're welcome.

Investment is not the most lucrative business in the world. Both real estate, Stock, and Cryptocurrencies are positively changing people's lives
Jobs will pay your bills, business will make you rich but investment makes and keeps you wealthy, the future is inevitable.
wow this awesome I'm 47 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
Getting advice from an expert when building an investment portfolio is a wise choice , as the process can be quite complex

We lent $25,000 to a cousin for his business during COVID. He paid us back within a year. No problem.
Lucked out

how do you make online purchases and rent a car, flights, and Amazon without a credit card
I would add dont do those for anyone not just family
JOHN 14:6😊❤🎉
What about giving? Is it a once off? When do you say no?
They usually say if it is a gift without strings and you know the person won't spend it to their harm then yes you can.
Well hey you guys
Make sure to get on the same page with your spouse before you gift money to anyone, including family.

It’s too bad there were people were complaining about the music in the background. Which was fine
Now it sounds awkward with no background music
I would be a millionaire if my family and friends paid me back the money they owe me. Never again 😢
That’s your fault.
