This is good. I was interested by your (too brief) discussion of playing from the 3rd and 5th as a jazz trope. More on this would be useful. The other thing is that I find positions important if I'm playing something a little more uptempo and it has, for example, triplets that might normally fall on fingers 3 and 4 (not so good), so I have to find a good position in general on the fretboard, at least for the head.
