I love Orc Boys. Ever since Grom the Paunch, Goblins got all the love and buffs. But I'll never forget my first Azhag campaign, dumpstering every soldier in the empire with nary a Goblin in sight.
I’ve played like 6 Greenskins campaigns and never use Goblins. I basically just refer to the faction as “Orks” (like in 40k). I’ve started 2 Grom campaigns but they haven’t gone past turn 20-30
Basic orc boys are 100% slept on. They're a work horse with middling stats - but EVERY stat is middling while being a tier 1 unit. The tech trees give them enough buffs to be viable even in late game campaigns as long as you have multiple stacks.
A couple things I’d want
More lord/mount variety! Give us Black Orc Warbosses, Savage Orc Great Shamans. Let Orc characters take a boar boy chariot as a mount option, and let the Night Goblin Shaman take a squig.
In campaign, embrace redundancy, let us make themed armies of Forest, Night and regular Goblins, and Savage, Black and Regular Orcs, with lords/heroes to match. They don’t have to be super fancy, or even available in normal multiplayer.
For units, Black Orc Boar Riders, Colossal Squigs, Big Stabbas, Orc Boy and Savage Orc Stabbas variant and Spear Chukkas.
For some rules, I like Armed to da Teef for Black Orcs. Also, Greenskins had a rule called “Size Matters” where they viewed every unit smaller than them as expendable. So Goblins would run first, than Orcs, than Big-Un’s and Black Orcs, than Trolls, than Giants. Might make Greenskin Trolls too good, but I think it would be super cool
Hero mounts are absolutely lacking. Black orc and shaman heroes should have wyverns. Night goblin shamans should have great squigs and/or spiders. They're one of the few armies with heroes that have ZERO mount options. Only other I can think of is Wood Elf branch wraiths.

Seems like Necropolis Knights have been making a return lately. Not to be underestimated!

I love your idea for the mechanic change to the black orks. That would also be a great mechanic for a lot of "hybrid" style units.
Ironclaw specialising in greenskin cav from boar boyz, wolf riders to squiggs could be a great unique addition
If they add the double hand weapons and shielded variants to Black Orcs I would be more than happy. Being able to switch between those three types during battle would be really fun and accurate but it sounds like they would become the best and more versatile melee infantry in the game by far.
Da Big Stabba: A Savage Orc weapon team that carries a very big spear.
Spear Chukka: Remember the Roman Scorpion? Now imagine it being more numerous and less accurate. Having it potentially break would make you folks have fits.
Orc Spear Boyz: The title says it all.
Ruglud's Armoured Orcs: Crossbow wielding, choppa swinging, regiment of renown 'ard boyz.
Orc Big Boss: Where'z he at?
Hagranyms Ridaz: Orcy Chaos Knights, but are you sure the mounts are tamed?
Squig Gobba: Living artillery.
Grokka Goreaxe: Berserking legendary hero.
The Grokkamobs: Fire and forget Orc Boar Boy Berserkingg RoR.
Forest goblins
Mangler squigs
Colossal squig
Need an orc LL. Don't want a puny gobbo being the main character to represent da boyz. It'll make dem look weak. Black orcs need more krumpin' too.
Tomb Kings should get their caster generic lords.
Would be kind of funny if unlike bladesingers the black orcs could only weapon switch once per game. Not great planners.
I didnt expect the greenskins dlcs but i wanted some new units for a long time!!!
I mean this is the penultimate game for TWW so it makes since everyone gets at least one last DLC
I personally wouldn't Complain if they just gave us variants of units already in the game. Dual weapon Boyz and Great Weapon Big'Un's for example. Make the great weapons Big'Uns the anti large Variant instead for Consistency. Thats just my opinion though. It will certainly be interesting to see how they aprouch adding or changing the roster. I think we should expect Black Orcs to be able to Switch between Great Weapons and Shields. No dual Weapon variant since the ROR technically already does that.
I think they'll flesh out savage orcs a bit more like they did with slayers and dwarfs. Maybe they'll add big stabba teams as a cheap and kind of funny anti-large unit to give ogres trouble
Just completed my very hard green skin campaign today, only 2% of tww3 players have the achievement
why are they getting a dlc?
Becouse they fit the best in a DLC with Khorne.

Why greenskins dlc and not Norsca Ca please 🤦♂️
Perhaps Norsca wouldn't get the attention they deserve alongside Ogres and Khorne. Might be better to save them for Norsca/Slaanesh or something.
