Please don't contradict yourself. Personal funds is different from father, mom funds. You have to state on your ds160 you're financing yourself. On the day of your interview, that's when you will need to explain to the visa officer where the money comes from. Thank you

( personally, I think such form will be used to complete your form I-20 by the DSO) Solution Write to the school International Student Services and inform them of your challenges, they will provide you the code needed to access the form. Or Better still, read the instructions that came with the email properly.

Hi Alfred , when i received my initial i20 i wasn't awarded a presidential in state waiver....but later it awarded. When a new i20 was issued, i realized the waiver amount was subtracted from my funding but was added. So now my overall funding is more than my expenses. Please is that a red flag?

The best you way to answer that question is no, you don't need to book any flight or on the ds160, it stated if you have plans for your trip. The answer supposed to be NO.

Write to the school International Student Services and inform them of your challenges, they will provide you the code needed to access the form.

State the name on your proof of funds as your sponsor. if that us your step father, state so. If not then dont
