Building A Backyard Parkour Park #1 - Making Precision Trainers

In this video I will be showing you how I made some simple parkour precision trainers, complete with the dimensions I used, an explanation on how I did it, and tips and tricks that I learned along the way. This is the first episode in a new series I am starting that will be showing you how I made my very own outdoor parkour park (ironically in my frontyard :D). I really hope these videos help you, and I really hope they inspire you to try some of these projects for yourself!
It has been a dream of mine to have a space to train at my home for a long time now. A place where I can learn new skills, perfect old skills, enjoy this amazing sport, enjoy time with friends, teach others, etc. And now I finally have it, and it makes it even more rewarding that I did most of it with my own two hands (and lots of help from my family of course). And I just want to encourage all who watch this video to consider making some obstacles for yourself. Repping my gym! I am definitely planning on continuing the series. I already have a few more episodes filmed and one partly done. But I have been having trouble with my editor/computer recently. I'm in the process now of building a new computer, and will hopefully be able to update my editing program as well. So eventually when I get all of the kinks out, I will post more!

I was hoping to get out the second episode of this a lot sooner. But I was having trouble with my editor and ended up switching which lost me all of the work I did on that video. So hopefully soon I can get it working again. I have some shop setup stuff coming up next!

How does the wood do in humidity, rain, and UV? I would think it might mold or get damaged where I live (Hawaii). What about somewhere with big temp swings and extreme dry cold?

Doesn't last forever. Can probably expect a couple years of life. The better you finish them though and protect them from sun and moisture the longer they'll last
