Gojo being more marketable than Kakashi is INSANE to me. It is easy to forget the vice grip that Kakashi had on the culture in the early 2000s. He was _everywhere_

Yeah, the perfect way to continue it, his main help in writing berserk and his best friend are both working on it, and since Miura has stated numerous times how he always thinks about the future of berserk he probably told them about it too
So, not sure how many people know about Miura and Mori's relationship, but it was something that gave inspiration to Guts and Griffith, to the point that their dialogue has been taken and used in the manga. So as much as people tend to dislike the idea of a series to continue once the creator is dead, this shit is different, because the one who is continuing it is not only someone close to the creator, but was the inspiration of the story itself. So, Here's hoping that it keeps going!
From what I've heard as well, the biggest part of the drawing was done by his assistants, and miura did the double spread pages and had more of consulting or overseeing role for the rest.
@@343JustMeJJK is a typical shounen manga with some unique character twists. It does enough to keep shounen battle manga fans happy but not enough to stand out as one of the best.
I feel like FMAB is considered "the best ever" by so many people not because it's actually the most mind-blowing anime ever made in the history of mankind but because it's pretty good under almost every aspect and that alone is good enough for the majority of people. Like, it has good openings, good animation, it doesn't needlessly drag out the story, doesn't really have any filler, most of the side characters are relevant to the overarching plot, has some funny moments, has a bunch of cool fights, it delves into more mature themes than the standard cookie-cutter shounen and it even has a pretty good english dub Yeah you can find another anime that has better animation or better music or more interesting and complex characters, but an anime that has "better everything" than FMAB? Yeah that's a bit harder to find
Very well put. A lot of other animes will put all their eggs in one basket, so to speak. Like, wow, fantastic animation! Great battles! Aw, but the characters are flat and I can't get invested in the plot... Whereas FMAB is just consistently at least good in all of those aspects and more throughout its entire run, which is just amazing.
@@muchluck7981 the weird thing is i think the fmab fanbase that does downvote other shows, its like they work in silence. ive never seen a hardcore fmab stan who preaches it should be number 1, yet whenever a new show comes out that takes no. 1 it gets review bombed. so i dont really know if its people who just happen to hate the show and downvote it for the sake of hating it, or if they are doing it because they FMAB it to be on top. atleast the "fmab stans" that do downvote are only a small portion. out of 2 million people who have rated fmab, it seems that only 4-13k of them downvote other shows which is good. I mean Mappa had to make AOT s4 in 9 months which is a joke. For that short period of time you can't have much better animation. The animators did their best. They had much more time for Jujutsu Kaisen.
That's what bothers me the most about Sean's comments. Like yeah, MAPPA can make a show with god tier animation. However, what they need is time and money to produce a good product. I don't know if Sean knew that MAPPA legitimately had no time to make this season, but it sounds like he genuinely thinks they did it out of laziness or lack of care. It's incredibly disrespectful to all the animators and production crew that were worked to the literal bone to make sure this season came out at all.
@@cheapPixel Aot s4 is trash and its not even debatable, they did a lot of stuff out of laziness and ruined the whole show, when it comes to aot mappa is disgusting
@@skinny8641 It's not laziness. It's the only way they could've done it to meet their deadline at all. Their deadlines are not set by the studio: they're set by the infamous Japanese production committee that values profits over anything else. With the close release of the ending of the AOT manga, they wanted to cash in the hype as soon as possible, and so they set the Winter 2020. WIT, the original studio of AOT, backed out immediately. They were already stretched incredibly thin and frustrated by season 3 and genuinely could not take it anymore. No other studio took it except MAPPA, who took on the nearly impossible task to create 16 episodes in less than 9 months. The Titans had to be CGI because there was no time to animate them in 2D. The character designers only had a week to create the main cast. Animators were pushed to work day and night to get something on the table. AOT Season 4 was done out of anything but laziness. If you want to call MAPPA disgusting, then call them out on their blatantly horrible work conditions and meager pay. However, you have to admit that the production of AOT Season 4 was nothing short of a miracle.

Okay, I get rid of my og comment from 2 years ago, because my opinions have TOTALLY changed. JJK's writing is incredible. Gege's writing style is... Different. It's vague, and it isn't afraid to veer off into different character perspectives. It's a story that needs to be reread and analyzed. Details are small sometimes and can be missed; character motives/abilities are so stacked it becomes intricate (sadly it doesn't help that the official English translations are wack 😂). It seems Shonen Jump this era slaps
Yea I disagree completely. It brings up complex themes and utilizes them in characters and abilities to shape a unique and creative world. There is conflict of ideals besides just good and bad yet every time someone watches it they give the same mindless answer of… it’s just good for the fights the story sucks when in fact it does not, and has tons of care and time put into it. @@shivalrus Oh dude I fully agree. In fact, some of it's ideas are similar to Chainsaw Man for me ( and I love that series). But I think Jujutsu Kaisen is purposefully simple... I think what makes FMA such a great series is the attention to world-building, the boundaries and limitations set in place by the the alchemy system, and even the care given to depicting characters who are physically disabled. It really makes it easy to connect with the characters and the happenings within their world. When it addresses serious topics, it does so with great sensitivity, and as I write this can still think of plenty of scenes that will stick with me for a long time.
It also allows you to relate to the horrors that happen as they are similar to what's happened in our own history. I loved that about AOT as well. But that did start drawling on for a bit in a few of the seasons there... Well for part of it and the other half I was on the edge of my seat lol

I mean can you tell me any shonen where a character describes choice feminism? And the story is very unpredictable and extremely creative. Hakari and his jackpot cursed technique is incredibly creative and his fight with Hashime feels like a chess match where they constantly counter each other's moves at a breakneck speed. Idk why, I love Mahito so much, and I have no clue as to why, just like the goofiness and the chaos but with the overall psychotic nature and awesome powers
I genuinely think, as someone who loves Naruto, that you should play the Ninja Storm games if you want the story. It’s quick, you could play it all over a couple days, and CC2 does such an amazing job with their cutscenes that it is just as good as the anime if not better in some places
Jack saying JJK lacks the heart of Naruto is a point I agree with but have never really been able to put into words. Like I'm caught up to the manga and while I do think it's very well written at points I've come to realize I don't really care or have a real connection to most of the characters and I feel like Gege will kill them off before I really can. With Naruto while a lot of the side characters did get the short end of the stick I at least feel there was a good chunk of them that I felt an attachment to though
One of the very reasons I absolutely adore Naruto. People keep trashing it by calling the story "mid" or as the vast majority says "the last arc was soo bad" but I don't really care about such things precisely because of the depth the characters hold and the overall feeling you get while watching/reading the series. I get so nostalgic every time somebody makes a mention of naruto because the feels just come rushing in instantly. Kishimoto did a very good job for the most part with the way he developed characters and conveyed his messages through them which reached a lot of people and the anime did a very commendable job with the ost which further added to the vibe and made the nostalgia even stronger.
It’s nostalgia isn’t it? Your weekly Naruto episode after school will makes you attach to the characters more, especially during their endless filler episode. JJK gave me the feel of “walking around the fast paced day in central Tokyo with your funny ass buddies just hanging out”, and I really rock that vibe.
@@crocdog5278 NineTrek It's not nostalgia, I only really watched Naruto in full a few years ago, I just honestly don't feel attached to JJK, hell even other modern shounen I've gotten more attached to the characters like as flawed as it is I do really like the Black Bulls from Black Clover
I was definitely in the same boat with FMAB - it may not be the best in terms of the individual aspects of what an anime is built off of, but it's so consistently good in every aspect that it feels like a truly complete story. There's no drop in quality anywhere and it tells its story cleanly from start to finish which is hard to do. Also all the characters are fully fleshed out and have real emotion and motivations that make sense for their personality.

Title is not tongue in cheek, Jack's got good taste. Even his take on Berserk seems reasonable, I don't really understand the pessimist who don't want anything to do with more Berserk, Miura probably wanted/wants the story finished most of all. I guess if Joey is right and there was nothing really left behind in a literal sense, who cares? If you've ever earnestly tried to write a story you probably agree that inspiration comes from real life and the people that worked with him making Berserk surely have had some sort of influence on their collective work. To answer Garnt and his question of who would want to take on finishing Berserk; his friends, work associates, and people who shared the making of his dream would want to finish their collaborative masterpiece in his honor and memory. At least that's how I envision I might feel if I knew him personally. If feels like a horrible shame for such a prolific story to not get a bookend.
Jujutsu Kaisen has an insane amount of buildup, so its crazy to me that people saw it only as a pure action show. I guess the other shoe hasn't dropped yet, so nobody has realized it was buildup. A lot of minds are going to be blowned when season 2 comes out.
Well season 1 IS pretty much just pure action, with a few little mysteries thrown in to raise curiosity. It's not super deep but really fun to watch, and that's kinda perfect for a first season, because that's how you hook people, and then in due time, you can expand that and make them care beyond the popcorn so they don't grow bored either.
@@conormurphy4328 Check out the manga, or wait for the second season you'll be suprised. JJK season 1 is like Chainsaw man before the first big plot twist.
Season 1 is pretty much an introduction to the series. And I think it did good enough to hook up lots of people to get interested via those flashy scenes. Besides, not all people read manga and it depends on writing if it will improve for the next seasons. Pretty much attack on titan s1.
I think the reason that FMAB sucks you in is the worldbuilding. The best magic system ever made with a convincing world and strong dynamics between the characters
@CptnXplosion just now getting this notification lol. So it's just cuz so little is actually explained. The limitations are pretty bare minimum with transmutation circles and law of equivalent exchange, but we rarely see how characters learn from that and create workarounds or the struggle that must be to work with mid battle. The bigger issues, however, are that its described as a science more than just mysticism but there's very little actual exploration into it, and for some reason little sharing of knowledge. Abilities should actually be less unique because of that. Further, progression on alchemy and what causes it tends to be strangely opaque and occurs out of nowhere, when given how its described, it should occur through deliberate and careful study. And then there's the lack of worldbuilding driven by alchemy. Most of how alchemists interact with the world seems to be in battle, warfare, terrorism, when realistically there's should be hundreds of fields that are directed more so at civilian life. Let's take the hunters association in HxH for example, while yes most are combatants, they all have their own interests that delve outside of just combat. Some are explorers, some want to be doctors, some are gourmets, some just want wealth, some are historians etc Maybe how I feel about it is just cuz I remember less of the details but there's the gist
In my opinion, I think the pacing of demon slayer is fine. I personally am not a big fan of just rushing into fight scenes, because I want something relevant to the storyline as well. I also want to get more attached to the characters, ofc you can do that during the fight scenes as well but you need to do it out of stuff like that too. For demon slayer I actually feel like they have a good mix of 'resting' episodes, you know characters chill, learn about each other, learn about different things relevant to the storyline but it does not go on for too long, where it gets boring.
I dunno man. As a 35 year old who completely skipped anime (except some big classics like Akira, GitS, Ninja Scroll etc) until a couple years ago, I fucking LOVED Naruto. I skipped almost nothing until I was nearly done with shippuden and of the couple hundred shows I've watched since I stated with anime, it is absolutely my benchmark for shonen.
I personally think that everyone can see it the way they want but as of right now having “someone” to continue, to carry on the massive amount of work done by Miura so that we all could see the finale the way Miura intended it it’s just the best thing for the manga and for all the work he has done, for everything he put into making without any doubt the best manga of all times. And as for that “someone” who is in fact K. Mori, who was there by Miura’s side when he planned the eclipse, who was his best friend since art school, who was like a brother to him, the only one he talked with about Berserk from start to finish it’s by far the best we could hope for along with the collaboration with Gaga studio, Miura’s “disciples” who worked with him and helped him getting through till it’s final days. Obviously we all have to keep in mind that it’s inevitable that the vision and the format we will get of the manga it’s not gonna correspond 100% to the unique style Miura had, having that in mind to me it’s so much disrespectful not to continue reading Berserk only because the direction HAD to change due to the obvious, so yeah it may not be 100% true to Miura style but I think that if he gave this enormous responsibility to the one he could trust the most so that everybody could see the end of his work just like the way he wanted, who are we to “disobey” the last will of the person who gave us that much? So I personally think that by continuing reading Berserk through the end it’s the best way of honoring and thanking him for what he gave us.
Number 1 thing that's godlike about FML is the characters.... The characters are so well written you quickly get attached to them and their relationships.... I mean Mustang and Hawkeye's relationship is just the cutest shit I turn into a bitch just when i think about those two... And they're so cool too.... The vilains are awesome completely fleshed out characters... It does such a good job of humanising them... That show really does everything perfectly except for having an unremarkable artstyle
So true, Shou Tucker is my favorite character, Nina was annoying, so when he got rid of her it was such a relief. But full metal alchemist brotherhood is still kinda mid. Naruto and Sasuke dynamic does get confusing, and Sasukes reasoning can get strange, but when it hits it hits hard, like the Pain Arc, and for the original, The Land of Waves arc, Chunin Exam, and Sasuke Retrieval arc.
I think why FMA is very engaging is because its very grounded, these characters despite their power they have problems and struggles that we can sympathize or relate with, hell even some homunculus made me sad when they died
That depends entirely on what you mean by ‘mid’. Do you think something is mid if it has some underwhelming qualities but excels in others? I’d argue the opposite
@@blurb9319 I'd say if the story and characters are basically a conglomerate of everything I've already seen in other members of its genre, the story and characters are "mid". I hate using that word because everyone interprets it as "bad". I treat JJK the same way as Demon Slayer and other battle shonen nowadays, which is I just watch them for fun. Don't think about the story or characters, just watch for the cool fights. So in that sense, JJK is a great show. I just wouldn't put it on my favorites because, again, I'm not exactly taking it "seriously".
Hate to be that manga reader guy, but JJK story/character only goes up from here while Demon Slayer will only goes down from here, so I hate seeing them being comparable.
Have we reached that point now? Where there are normie anime fans? I've never seen those words together in a sentence like that. Also, you know Jack is one of us when he not only because he casually name drops an anime studio, but because he uses "Kai" and "Brotherhood" like verbs.
It was since last year I've seen someone get isolated in the class because he was the only one who didn't know anything about anime. Its truly is something
i think it started since SAO era, but those are mostly gamers then Demon Slayer become the big thing followed by AOT, SpyxFamily most of my friend online/offline who doesnt watch anime know and watched them
you mustve been new to the community then, the normies have been there for fucking ever. dont make it seems like there arent ppl who see anime memes and then say they knew the entire lore of fucking sword art online
FMA: Brotherhood has a really glaring plot-hole with the way the "Truth" works (by it's own description), but it was still fairly good. Granted I don't put it on a pedestal because I grew up exposed to a bunch of anime. So, for my top list it has stuff from all over the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, and if I include movies FMA:B or FMA don't breech my top ten, but B is in the top 20 and FMA is in the top 30.
i HATE when people say JJK is just fight scenes , there so much more going on , i think once it ends people are really gonna appreciate the writing much more
@kiratwo4u well, for one, the brilliant foreshadowing of things to come. Especially megumi's fate and Gojos death. The use of the actual curse techniques are insane and works almost perfectly. It's probably the best power system. The characters are actually well written and have some of the best arcs which is where i think the manga really shines. And the overall theme of moving forward and not being stuck in a system that is broken and redundant. I could keep going. But I'm not really here for a debate "lil Bro"
I wonder what it’s like to watch these older shows like Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist in 2022 vs back then (2010 and 2011 for me). I know many people were kids when they watched these shows but I was 33 years old when I got into anime and yet when I watch them again it’s crazy nostalgic. Those were the days man. When anime was great.
I totally agree with what they're saying. I love a lot of older shows, but going back and watching them now after experiencing well-paced, well-animated modern anime is rough. Like, if JJK's episode next week came out and dedicated two and a half minutes to a shot-reverse-shot of two people glaring at each other across a battlefield while slow, drawn-out tension music played in the background, there would be riots.
@@M3N04 I don't mind if the story itself is slowly paced, but I can't stand it when anime wastes time. Naruto had episodes where it legit felt like 80% of the episode was shot-reverse-shots of still frame characters interspersed with the same flashbacks OVER AND OVER. Like, Frieren is a slowly paced story, but it still doesn't waste a second of your time, and I love it
I think he's mainly talking about the animation between the two shows. If that's the case then yeah, that's pretty much how i felt about it too, JJK pretty much had better production value and animation quality than what AOT Season 4 had at the time.
I think as well it correlates with the fact that many animes are derived from manga so I agree that the first season off JJK is alright, but Shibuya definitely turns the whole feel of the show/manga around. Later on in the manga is up to opinion and I think it has many strengths and maybe a couple of weaknesses (ones that Gege Akutami points out actually if people read the little things in-between panels)
@@argy7526 he said he skipped the filler and doing that makes it a better anime at least than the shit pacing that One Piece has like the amount of padding they put into some of those episodes were crazy

@@jackoplumkin6412 yeah ik but now my brain is on reading mode, for fight scenes I will watch that part. Since I keep procrastinating for years to watch the anime, the amount of EP overwhelmed me
I love how much jacks take on JJKs story being mid has seemingly changed with the shibuya arc. Like there was alot of planning that has gone into it. And gege is clearly trying to tell a different story. Because of the simple fact that when Sukuna is on screen the show revolves around him instead of Yuji. And also IF sukuna wants something hes gonna get it no matter what. Like you are in his prescence and you are obeying him or your dead! Anyway I don't wanna do manga spoilers in case somebody reads this as its even fucking more in depth in the manga then it is in the anime rn. Like ALOT of planning has gone into the entire JJK story!
Jujutsu kaisen is my favorite manga that im currently reading weekly. It might not be everyone's favorite but it is better than mid, lol. The next season will be so much better than the first season, and even for those people who hate the show, hate te plot, the story...etc, i think it will be a 8/10, for those who love it will be an absolute 10/10. It is definitely not mid. But for what we have seen from season one i get why people say that( even tho for me it was not mid, lol).
The first season is what made me read further in the manga. Its def not mid. It made me say I actually want to read the manga to see where the story and characters go. Which is the first manga I've read in over 10 years. I agree though first season I can see why people can feel it isn't great.
@@sethwood1676 for me episode 4, with Yuji being afraid to die and then Sukuna using a domain expansion for the first time that shit was so cool and heart wrenching that I read the whole ass series in one go. One of my top favorites. In my opinion, JJK is Hunter X Hunter without a "Chimera ant arc" it's good. It's really fuckin good. But not a masterpiece. Peak Shonen for sure tho
Purely for my own curiosity, how many other Shounen have you read? Because I feel that with anime like JJK and DS, a lot of the hype seems to come from people who are basically being introduced to anime by these shows. These are their first shounen anime, so for them the score is usually higher than it would be for someone who's read/watched more. Personally, I've read the manga and found the story and characters to be good but nothing I haven't seen before.
Jack not liking Demon Slayer is a bit of a bummer because I really enjoy that show... It's interesting to hear him say its just "full of filler" because I disagree... Although I think what "filler" is to someone varies. Glad to hear that he loves JJK though! Even though his point seems to only be that all he seems to care about is the fights lol
About 2 months ago I watched Jjk and my whole view changed. At first I thought it would be like demon slayer; boring but with incredible animation. Then I watched Jjk and I was blown away. Jjk has both likeable characters and amazing fights. Every fight in Jjk is a banger. My personal favorite fight is the Itadori and todo vs hanami.

I feel like FMAB is considered "the best ever" by so many people not because it's actually the most mind-blowing anime ever made in the history of mankind but because it's pretty good under almost every aspect and that alone is good enough for the majority of people.
Like, it has good openings, good animation, it doesn't needlessly drag out the story, doesn't really have any filler, most of the side characters are relevant to the overarching plot, has some funny moments, has a bunch of cool fights, it delves into more mature themes than the standard cookie-cutter shounen and it even has a pretty good english dub
Yeah you can find another anime that has better animation or better music or more interesting and complex characters, but an anime that has "better everything" than FMAB? Yeah that's a bit harder to find
Very well put. A lot of other animes will put all their eggs in one basket, so to speak. Like, wow, fantastic animation! Great battles! Aw, but the characters are flat and I can't get invested in the plot... Whereas FMAB is just consistently at least good in all of those aspects and more throughout its entire run, which is just amazing.

I don't know if Sean knew that MAPPA legitimately had no time to make this season, but it sounds like he genuinely thinks they did it out of laziness or lack of care.

I agree with Jack about the quality of AoT compared to JJK talking about the animation quality. I mean idk what they could have done besides pushing back other shows and their movie and have more animators work on AoT
Wait so JJK is supposedly very than Attack on Titan? I'm yet to see that one. It looked just like a fighter one to me...
But the thing I love or loved about AOT was the punches it gave you with the story.. How it got right into it, especially with the itty gritty part. The animation is top notch too!
But I did notice was it first half of season 3 it fell down and felt kinda long and painful. But then it kicked it up again in the second last season! I was on it edge of my seat haha. Very little anime does that for me anymore.
But I've yet to watch the last season. I feel like they are gonna butcher the ending somehow

Brandon Sanderson finished Jordan's Wheel of Time and did so masterfully. So there will always be hope that some day someone might be able to finish Berserk.
Although in the case of Jordan and Brandon, it was Jordan's wife who made the decision, based on what Jordan himself wanted. He wanted someone to finish the series after his death iirc, and had a list of authors in place. I think. And ofc all the unfinished material he had created. Been a while since I listened to the podcast where Brandon explained it, so might not be remembering all correctly.
They must be so hype that Berserk is back. Miura’s best friend is taking it over and showing us the ending Miura wanted us to see with his assistants taking up the artwork. I think this is the best we could’ve gotten

My only thought towards the art was that I felt like I could just tell it was trying to imitate someone, so maybe as they draw more they’ll find a bit more identity.

Yeah tho. So fascinating, it was hard to take my eyes off him. It wasn't that he was awkward, but he was really listening and paying attention to what the others was saying. And his perception when it comes to anime was so well-rounded. It wasn't just liking fanboying to anime but rather he knows the game (bunch of fillers, great vs bad animation, etc) and appreciates them (or dislikes them) and keeps it real. So cool!
I feel that. It's so lame when you know about "obscure" stuff or hidden gems but all you can talk about is the popular series that you may feel lukewarm about. And people don't take those recommendations seriously enough cause the former aren't really discussed often
Yeah. Personally, I don't dislike any of these popular series like JJK or DS. I just find that once you've seen a couple of battle shounen already, there isn't much these new anime really have to offer in terms of story and characters. Not that any of it's bad, it's all good, but rather I'd prefer seeing something different than something I've tasted 10 times before.
It's gotten to the point now where if I watch/read a shounen, I really only focus on the cool fights and pay little to no attention to story or characters. I basically just watch them for fun, not for actually finding that show that'll stick with me long after.

My god, your right. Life hax,
Jack saying JJK lacks the heart of Naruto is a point I agree with but have never really been able to put into words.
Same, when he said that, I’m like oh yeah.

Yep FMAB is the best
I watched some of it and don't even remember most of it but still remember it was good. I stopped cause life but will never put it down

Dood the story is going to keep on going 2 new chapters have been released

Some are explorers, some want to be doctors, some are gourmets, some just want wealth, some are historians etc
Maybe how I feel about it is just cuz I remember less of the details but there's the gist
Jack: "Naruto is way to long"
Oda: "hold my Sake"
people tend to forget that even the ofiginal FMA was pretty big and well regarded back then
In my opinion, I think the pacing of demon slayer is fine.
I guess they didn't expect Jack to go full on "Reviewer Mode" like he does when playing games. Love this episode :D

I totally agree with what they're saying. I love a lot of older shows, but going back and watching them now after experiencing well-paced, well-animated modern anime is rough. It is definitely not mid. But for what we have seen from season one i get why people say that( even tho for me it was not mid, lol).
I agree, after season two is fully animated anyone who still calls the show mid or generic is just lying at that point.
People don’t even know what mid is anymore
Purely for my own curiosity, how many other Shounen have you read? Because I feel that with anime like JJK and DS, a lot of the hype seems to come from people who are basically being introduced to anime by these shows. These are their first shounen anime, so for them the score is usually higher than it would be for someone who's read/watched more. Personally, I've read the manga and found the story and characters to be good but nothing I haven't seen before.
So far the anime is mostly fight scenes, but with the manga, the story and plot is really intricate and better than most animes
And here we are 2 years later with the jjk manga finale, this convo didn't age well...
FMA brotherhood: sound design, agreeable villains , big brother /friendship , love , lose sacrifice 😍
Demon slayer had filler? Only thing I remember is the school stuff otherwise there was literally non existence filler
@@leschroder7773I don’t think jack meant filler as in not canon but the parts of a show that just feel like a slog to go theough
About 2 months ago I watched Jjk and my whole view changed. At first I thought it would be like demon slayer; boring but with incredible animation. Then I watched Jjk and I was blown away. Jjk has both likeable characters and amazing fights. Every fight in Jjk is a banger. My personal favorite fight is the Itadori and todo vs hanami.
there are soooooo many 12-24 episode animes out there that are absolute fkin master pieces, some of which I have re-watched a few times and still was glued to the screen. Most of what they talked about was the mainstream really heavily marketed stuff, which are still good, but still missing out on loads. At least they mentioned berserk which is fkin awesome.
