I have often thought of buying a pre-loved Hermes' bag, but I'm not 100% sure that the bags sold in Europe are authentic and buying a bag from Japan becomes too expensive because you have to add taxes, duties and shipping costs.

I love the Chanel pink CF. I’m a huge fan of the classic flaps with the edge stitching in the seasonal colours. They only do edge stitching on the black and beige Claire now.

Ive been thinking about buying from ebay sometimes but then I get scared that it might not be an authentic bag and feel it would be a hassle with using an authenticator, so I always end up at the stores 😅 my neverending search for a birkin and a gucci wool tote would be more simple in the preloved market though.

I really enjoyed this. I love vintage bags and jewellery and preloved shopping too. I would like to get my hands on a vintage Ophidia too but they are very hard to find in good condition. The big plus of the vintage model over the current one is that the strap is long enough to wear crossbody. On the new ones it isn’t, it’s shoulder only which I can’t wear. My favourite preloved bag is a Chanel Medallion Tote in black caviar which I got a few years ago for a steal compared to what they are going for now. I really wish I had bought more pre COVID. It never occurred to me that everything would go up so much so quickly.

Same here my very first chanel classic double flap was preloved before I bought a brand new. Pre loved is ok as long as in good condition and good as new.

My fav purchase was my 1990s v-stitch small Chanel bag from Farfetch. Absolutely gorgeous 24k gold plated hardware! Love it 😍😍
