- It’s common when learning to spearfish to wonder what’s the correct way to load a speargun. In this video, Eckhart, from Adreno Spearfishing Melbourne demonstrates how to load a spearfishing gun. Techniques for loading short short spearguns and long spearguns are shown in this video.
If you have a shorter speargun, usually under 1 meter in length, you might be able to chest load it by putting it on your chest and grabbing the rubbers with your palms down.
If your speargun is too long to chest load, there is an alternative method to load your speargun which Eckhart demonstrates.

It was really helpful for me, because I used before a 50 cm speargun. Now I bought a 100 cm speargun, and I didn't know how to load it. But you explained it very well
thank you for the tutorial. i Just bought my first speargun 90cm gun today. when i try to load it on dry land to test it, it is so bothersome so difficult to get the lst few centimeters to hook the latex up it is a pain in the ... i read that it becomes much easier to load in water, is this true, and why is that? i just wanna be sure before i go into the sea because i dont wanna void the warranty.

It's about loading in general not how to use your particular speargun because they are all different. Read the owners manual or find a beginners video.

There are none, just if your underaged be with a mature persons. Recommend doing the Adreno free diving cause first

ahaha when i bought my first gun with two rubbers it took me a while to figure out the technique of getting one rubber inside the other. I would load the first rubber to the furthest notch and then that rubber would cover the second notch!

Try it on your hip or buy a loading pad seperately and glue it on.

@Andrew White i mean that this chest tecnique is very painfull and unconfortable ,bad for shoulders ,i can't think in load a hammerhead or roballen in my shest ,no matter if your suit has loading pad ..its very unconfortable ,guns be loaded in upper abs ..you cant contract shest wile loading ,but your abs have a good contraction for load every tipe of guns on the market ..my comment was a joke my friend ..i talk for me and my experience not for others spearos ..😉
