Captain! This video was a blaster saver! I finally got on the Knockout hype train and wanted to brass one. Upon butterflying the shell, it promptly exploded! All done now, 150 fps half darts with no spring upgrade. Thank you! Bangarang!
Good video. The newer ones have all of the same sized screws. Also, this was the first video that I saw a good picture of the trigger bar. The one on my son's blaster wasn't near as clean with the bends, this made the trigger extremely heavy (I was pulling it with two fingers). I figured it was the trigger bar after confirming it with this video I bent them clean and it fixed the problem.
I guess the new one also has a flaw in the orange spring holder. When the gun is fired it slams against the retainer screw with the wide flange and it breaks it. The solution is to add more padding to the top of the white piston where there already is padding but not thick enough.
Thank Captain - I had minor challenges after electing to make one blue with no Rival on either side and another with Rival on both sides after Ross had the dual pack with blue having Rival painted on left side - first ever.
I actually discovered something about this blaster a bit ago. There actually is a wrong way to put the rod that connects the trigger to the catch in, provided that you keep the trigger safety in. The u channel bent into the rod appears to be cut out so that the safety can slide back and forth
Thanks for the help, got mine yesterday and it fired the air restrictor out the front earlier so had to open it and put it back in (extrasensory hearing and knockout is loud as is lol) Edit:god damn it it fired back out again I give up lol, blaster still functions atleast so the video did what it aims to, probably just an issue with the parts themselves in this case. Atleast it's only the air restrictor
The issue I have is that pulling the big thing to prime the bullet will not load properly, to turn the icon orange. Pulling the lever to unlock the barrel also pops the primer out. Any ideas?
so I took out my air resticter and then reassembled it and after one shot the plunger handle went loose so i took it back apart checked out the plunger and the plastic attaching the handle to everything stapped can anyone explain this
@@CaptainXavier ok because I lost that piece then found my first knockout and took the piece from the old one and put it in my new one and now it works, thanks for the tutorial and I also subscribed.
Idea for a future build: you built a modular bigshock a long time ago, maybe you could try modularizing one of these? There’s certainly enough air volume for at least a few kinds of ammo....
@@CaptainXavier Am asking this question coz I can't buy spring for nerf . They are not sale in our country.So i can put it in my takedown by taking out the spring from my knockout. My Knockout velocity is more harder then my takedown. I guess I will put the spring hope it work.

Sounds like the trigger lock is not disengaging. You are pushing the priming handle back up after priming, yes? Unlike most manually primed blasters this one requires you to manually push the priming handle back up before firing. If you are then the linkage that disengaged the lock is probably either misaligned or missing.

Thanks dude! Got that tiny plastic bar with a spring in its home and it works. Anger level reduced by 30%.

No. Not unless you also remove both of the trigger lock parts.

But idk how to move it I placed it 100% same as urs but mine keeps getting stuck for some reason
