when I'm tired and I don't feel like breeding or battling or leveling up pokémon to complete the pokedex, I'll just deposit every pokémon in the pc besides Luna (my lvl 100 absol, my best friend) and Rai (my luxray, first shiny ever. bred him myself) and I'll hop on latias and soar over hoenn together. it's peaceful and nice. I wish pokémon was real so badly
By far one of the best new functions that came with ORAS. I register the eon flute and never bother with flying, because I love the music and visuals when I'm getting around Hoenn.
I can just imagine Brendan, May, and Wally all walking/laying down at night, looking up to the stars, and reflecting upon their journey and how much they've grown since it all began...

May actually does show signs of feelings towards Brendan. From the way she's always offering to heal your team after a battle and offering to travel with you to a familiar town/city that's usually far away on foot; Not to mention, she blushes about 2-3 times throughout the game. Not saying it's concrete proof, but compared to the original games, she acts more like she's secretly into you while trying to keep things on a friend level. Brendan does the exact same thing, but he seems to try and play it off sometimes.
***** If you play as May and you beat the Lavaridge Gym, I think Brendan says something like "I guess I was.. uh.. worried about you?" OH YEAH LETS NOT FORGET THE FRIENDZONE LOL

I wish I was able to ride Charizard or any other Pokémon like I was Latios and Latias. I loved Sun and Moon, but they seriously missed the opportunity to bring this feature back in the form of a rideable Pokémon. It was a really nice thing to do, despite abolishing the purpose of Fly outside of battling.

This reminds me of when i finally finished my living Pokedex in ORAS and just flew around the sky at night for a straight hour. I was, needless to say, very happy.
I got this in the day and by night or next I got Latios and heard this and got a tear or two its just beautiful :) Also when I watched the intro I also shed a tear from the memories of Ruby version and saw the utter amazing development change! Thank you Gamefreak!!! :D

This music makes me cry because it's absolutely beautiful. Especially when it's a nice peaceful evening, I'll decide to hop on Lati@s and just soar over Hoenn for fun, while this plays. This is the type of music that should play after the best day of [my] life; it feels so reminiscent.
Because I primarily play in the daytime, I have never heard this theme, only the daytime version. I finally used Soar while playing last night, because I wanted to check out the Mirage Spot for the day, and when I didn't hear the bombastic daytime theme, I thought that I haven't turned on the volume. Then I waited a little longer, and realized that there is a calmer theme for Soaring at night, and I just sat there with Mega Latios for a little while, just mesmerized by this theme. It's little moments like this that make Pokemon feel so magical.

The day music just screems victory! When I close my eyes, I'm imagining myself flying at high speeds across a bridge or something, often close to water and the ground. It's like the song symbolizes YOUR thoughts of victory, like it's saying "I can do it!" But the night version is just perfect too. It too conveys feeling of victory, but completely different. When I hear it, I imagine flying slowly high in the sky, with the bright stars over my head, and the water below me is completely still. The day version conveys feelings like "I can do it! Nothing can stop me!" or "I did it!" It all says your feelings. But this song, instead of conveying victory, it conveys hope! But it's like someone else then you is saying it. It's like the song is a warm, calm and kindhearted person, reaching out and holding you, and their saying: "YOU can do it. I know you always will." They day version is like "I can do it!", but the night version is more like "You can do it!" It's an outside force! But they are both just too beautiful in their own ways! I just have one catch: WHO THE HECK IS THE PERSON WHO DISLIKED THIS?!

The Eon Flute does make Fly a little redundant. Soon as I got it I made my Altaria forget Fly and made it learn something else.

One of my favorite Pokémon game ever. It added so much to the original and the graphics improvements made it even more magical. I really hope they redo diamond/pearl next.

It's a nice nod to D/P/Pt as this has separate versions for night and day.
I'd use my Eon Flute and then fly on my Latias for an hour. The music kept me up there. It was so peaceful

Gaming and Stuff I know this is rather old, but Raikou was a b*tch and a half for me to catch. I don't know what it was, but it seemed like his catch rate was lower than Mewtwo.
