    despite how he talks Tyson is actually an intelligent guy

    • @gregorybower2759
      @gregorybower2759 2 ปีที่แล้ว +41

      He is often massively underestimated on how smart he really is because of his profession. Theres a video where he's doing a seminar on historic warfare and somebody in the audience questions why he's up there and Mike starts to snap on him, the other guy on stage who was considered one of the world's most knowledgeable people stopped him and flat out told the audience "he hands down knows more about ancient warfare then everyone in this room combined to include myself"

      Oh hell yeah! The man is an expert on the sweet science of boxing. He also writes poetry and studies philosophy. If you listen to some of his interviews he actually has a lot to say. So many interviewers restrict their interviews with him to just boxing. But guys like Joe Rogan engage him on a number of topics. And sometimes you can tell that Mike is passionate about a subject because he actually starts getting angry or emotional about it. Plus, you don’t train with Cuss D’Amato and Kevin Rooney and not pick up a few life lessons and wisdom.

    Mike in his day was no joke, nor hype. What he did to the sport back when was nothing short of amazing. His D was tops, you just couldn't hit him. His speed, and power were not something one could understand until they got in the ring with him. I saw him many times give a 1,2. 1,2,3, and sometimes a 1,2,3,4 with his left. Also on that A good amount of Mikes KO's came from his lefts. God help those that took his right,....

      True this is honestly why I want to see another peekaboo fighter but one more like Patterson with serious speed taking head movement to the 11th but more than that. I want to see them evolve the movement and the Dempsey roll to modern standards. With quick countering movement mixed with rough smothering in fighting though I think you would need to fix in a high guard and some type of low guard. High for when pushing in and a lower hand guard like philly shell or low guard to deal with guys who like to stab the body a lot.

  • @josealvarado8842

    I feel you Milo on Tyson being a very likeable guy despite his intimidating demeanor but he got like that because of all the stuff he went through and the day he met Cus D'amoto is when he did really have that strong positive father figure in his life to guide him not only to his success to becoming the heavyweight champion but also in life with the lessons he taught Tyson. The saying "Give a man fish and you feed him for a day but teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime" is very true in this case. I couldn't help but get a bit emotional too when I saw the pictures and footage of him and Cus together all happy like that. I have so much respect for Tyson not only because of what he accomplished and the legacy he built for himself but the times he was willing to be vulnerable even in public when he would cry and when stereotypes of 'Real Men don't Cry" are being enforced by the media, society, and communities he breaks those stereotypes because even the greatest and strongest Men in history cry whether it's in public or more often behind closed doors because they might be seen weak, less of a man, or just seen less cool. Thank you for uploading this video and can't wait for part 2. I'm more of an MMA fan but I love Mike Tyson not only as the Boxer but as a human being too and the sport of Boxing has changed due to certain people being super greedy and looking out for the sports ineterest which is why some people say Boxing is hurting right now. Once again congratulations on your clothing brand, you'll continue to do great Milo just keep pushing and building your brand. Really feels like we are watching this together and don't worry if you don't know all the rules in any sport because you have me and the other people who watch your videos to help you out on that. Much Love and Respect!

    Tyson is an one of the best straight up American stories... Kid that went through a lot, saw some light with Cus, things went down after Cus past and he dove right into the darkness, over time he got wiser and we was able to be a better man overall... Although Ali is the Greatest, it's always a close comparison to Mike

    • @PapaEli-pz8ff
      @PapaEli-pz8ff 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike is not even in the same ballpark as Ali for a multitude of reasons. From a boxing standpoint his record against boxers who weren't intimidated by him was not very good. Ask yourself, how did he do against Buster (the dog) Douglas? Holyfield? Lennox Lewis? Just saying. I expect a lot of push back.. but I don't argue or engage in debates. We all can honestly judge Tyson's career for ourselves. Peace!

Don't get me wrong Ali is the best heavyweight to ever live? but if Ali would have went head-to-head in his prime against 1980s Mike's prime Ali would not hold that title today. and if buster Douglas would have fought Tyson in the '80s then buster Douglas wouldn't be boxing in the '90s. that's how bad Mike would have beat him.

Anyone can either stand or remain lying down. You can uplift another person, no matter the race or background. Seen black men be father figures to white boys and white men be father figures to black boys. There is only one race; The Human Race. And it can be as beautiful as we want it to be. I have no doubt that if Cus D'Amato hadnt have passed away. Tyson would not have gone through alot of things he went through or been in those situations. He loved and respected Cus like no other. I was more sad for him dying for Tyson.
    Watch the video of Cus D'Amato slap fighting against Muhammad Ali. 😳

    Cus did something special, he built tysons body and his skillset, but he also built tysons MIND. He told mike he was the best EVER, that he was champ champ, that he was a killer, a destroy, an alexander the great, a machine of war, they built his ego to the point of oblivion. Why? Because Tyson believed it and that gave him belief in himself.

    You're like my aunt. She loves buff men. WWE (back in the day) was her favorite show. She had a thing for Jake the Snake Roberts and everytime he was on she want him to kill his opponent no mercy. Lol.
