Bloody great vlog!!! Ive got a Pike Bung that I baught in 1978 from the boat house on Hornsea Mere Dont use now its rare! Its a pleasure to see your keeping Angling traditions alive 🎣🎣🎣👍
WIcked mate, I cant wait till the rest comes out, you explain everything so well, from start to finish, certainly gave me a lot personally to think about when I start to make mine! thanks so much for the shout out too, didn't expect that lol, top man Gaz!!!
hi Will, I make all of these tools myself as they aren't commercially available. I was shown this one in particular by a fellow floatmaker. Basically it is thin walled brass tubing I bought from ebay. I then just turned a wee handle to hold it. Just get the diametre of tubing closest, but smaller, than the diameter of the stem material you wish to use. Graeme.
? for you is there a way that I can get a email to ask more ? out side of TH-cam. I am new to float making and love the history of them and use them a lot when fishing with my three boys.

to get a wider kerf (@14.07) you could try using 2 hack saw blades together side by side, would cut lovely on balsa
