Hi Perry, longtime fan of your vids and music here! I assume that apart from the stereo effects, these toneprints l/settings would work just fine for the smaller flashback mini 2, amirite?
So how would you compare this one to the dd8? do you have a preference? I don't know if it's just me, but the dd8 seems to have more clear and clean repeats on each side, which is neither good or bad, just a characteristic of it I guess.
Did you have to do anything special (like firmware updates or TonePrint editing) in order to get a proper stereo sound from it? I watched a different demo of this pedal where it was just a dry signal in one ear and wet in the other. This video sounds much better.
I do believe you can. You set that option in the toneprint editor and plug your guitar into the stereo input instead. Can also be done with a trx cable and an external tap switch.
Great demo but in particular Sound 6 Crystal was absolutely stunning! Do you think this is a better choice than the Boss RE-2? I know the RE-2 is a dedicated echo unit but wondered if you thought the Flashback 2 can emulate tape echo as well as the RE-2? Cheers
Thanks Perry, the price is adequate for the performance. I would never use the Mash in normal situations. Flashback 2 It is only useful as a delay and stop. - Greetings from Italy
@@PerryFrank to me that seems like a slight disadvantage. Any pedal you would recommend that can do that ? I was thinking of Joyo Aquarius. But I'm not sure. thanks for your reply
@@udaykumarbr1231 yes absolutely it's a defect of this pedal. When I use looper I want to have delay too. Using looper with dry signal is completely useless in a delay pedal. Even in the Mooer D7 when you use the looper you have delay too. You could check the D7 for example
If you want to go stereo you need two cables, two amps unless you have a Roland JC series. Patch cables are good to connect two or more pedals with each others
Hi, i have one question if you can help me with tc electronic flashback delay and looper:(no Mash) How to replay what i previously recorded after stopping with a double click?
Grazie ancora.

DOES THE FLASHBACK 1 DOES THE SAME MORPHING THING WHEN YOU CHANGE THE TIME KNOB?
You really did the stereo image justice with this demo!
Thanks a lot 🙏
This is what I was looking for! Thanks for showing the knob settings.
🙏🙏🙏🍻
Thank you dearly for doing the longer delay on this pedal ( been a staple for me). :-)
Pair this with the HOF 2! I would love to see some combinations.
Will do it in the next clips, stay tuned 💣
@God Servant *sigh*
Sounds great man! Good job.
Thank you very much!
Excellent demo - thanks.

Yes they should work with the small version of Flashback too

A reference for flashback!

Just recorded in stereo with two amps, left and right as you can see. Thank you 🙏
thanks for video? can i tap flashback 2 instead effect mash or i need to buy special tap pedal?
I do believe you can. You set that option in the toneprint editor and plug your guitar into the stereo input instead. Can also be done with a trx cable and an external tap switch.
You’ll have to plug it in to your computer and edit it with their TonePrint thingy. The pedal comes with the needed USB chord.

If you want echo sounss the Re2 is far better than this, this is my opinion

Hello. Can I use both, delay & looper at the same time?
Would you still recommend this over other Delay+ Looper pedals in the same price range (
Hello, no you can't use delay and looper at the same time. When you go in looper mode there's no delay

@@udaykumarbr1231 You have flashback delay x4, the big brother of this one, with much more options.
What cords do you need to plug it in
are you not using a volume pedal with this? those swells are amazing. and thats JUST the pedal?
The swells are created with the volume knob of the guitar, check this clip: th-cam.com/video/vZPC3sAu_Og/w-d-xo.html
2 questions sir do we need to buy a stereo patch cable ? and where to connect the stereo output in the amp
If you want to go stereo you need two cables, two amps unless you have a Roland JC series. Patch cables are good to connect two or more pedals with each others
Is the “quarter + eighth” setting the only setting for playing in stereo?
It has a ping pong effect and it's the only way to have a wider stereo tone
which tone prints did you use?
Made it one on my own. I will make a video about it in the next weeks
@@PerryFrank Thanks Perry

How to replay what i previously recorded after stopping with a double click?
Does it have trails when switched off?
Yes it has trails switch inside.
@@isaacinvang thanks, I can confirm since I've already bought it some weeks ago
can we hear this in a lead guitar solo setting??
There are a lot of videos where musicians use it for solos in rock and other genres. In this channel you'll hear only ambient and postrock
