I have a friend that ran a Wagner at Champion in Gold Beach, Oregon until they shut down 30+ years ago. They had another Wagner at Kinzua in Heppner, Oregon. The back steering wheels had power to them for help in turning. (It snows a bit in Heppner) That mill has been closed since 1999.

the Letourneau's are massive but I think that thing would dwarf one of em, Super cool steering mechanism you sort of skipped over at the end there.

The steering wheel is a GM wheel you'd see in the sport versions of like a 76 Camaro rally sport. Next time you see a KW pedal of that era, try to pull the rubber off and see if its the cast aluminum one with KW cast into it. There are both pedals, one plain flat and one w/KW cast into it, but both can have that rubber pad cover over it.

The Dart truck company was purchased by PACCAR along with Peterbilt motors in 1958.Dart also made prime movers mining dumps , front end loaders with offset cabs sometimes badged as Sicard. FWD WAGNER also made large stackers as did LeTourneau. WAGNER log stackers are now a part of ALLIED INDUSTRIES.
