I love making the flying geese this way. ABSOLUTELY genius idea lol. I have the book you wrote in July 1988 called the "Morning Star". I have made some blocks from my scrap fabric to make the stars. I did it the way you wrote it in the book on 1 block and used my flying geese ruler on another lol. When I shop for my fabric I'll definitely be using the flying geese ruler haha. I have some fabric that is a deep burgandy that has all the rows/border type on it. Now I just need to find a color to match and it will be perfect for this quilt! Just saved this to my Pinterest page and my You Tube videos. Going to go now and purchase this pattern. C:
