Keep your head up, Tanner. All these commenters who criticize you and who's never raced don't understand how fast things happen on the track. With the split second decisions that have to be made and with the completion you have, one minor mistake can mean hero or zero. I never raced at your level, but I've been a driver and a crew chief on a couple of cars, and I understand how punishing motorsports can be. Stay safe out there.
Just a viewer looking in. I follow you pretty close watched you grow up racing, race with you a few times. It seems like you’ve had more trouble since you switched to the triple X. I know you used to race a KPC with a lot of success. I was part of a pit crew that started with a KPC went to a triple X and in the very first race, the front end welds broke off of the car almost junk. Our entire operation went back to the KPC and we were very successful. Like I said, just a viewer looking in maybe giving some suggestions from the outside.
Need to swallow some pride and seek some assistance to advance your program. It's hard, but nobody advances in life without help from others. Keep leaning forward. You have a bright future in whatever pathway you choose.
Lol there's not many of them but some of these comments are a little weird. "Stop thinking so much." I'm not sure you guys understand that every driver is out there analyzing, extremely quickly, what to do lap to lap, there's no such thing as "just go out and race stop thinking." Doesn't work that way. There's a reason when Larson steps out of the car he's recounting every single lap and every single move, it's because he's analyzing and thinking what he's doing, he's not just sending it.
Lately I'm watching you go backwards 99 % of the time..sure your up against the best people but you are better than that, as a team as a driver..you have to off load with a mind set, get in, strap up and drive.you are your own worst enemy, driver confidence in themselves, the car the team has got to reign supreme.only then can you go out an " git it done son"
I would hate to see what this all cost.Go travel over for a couple of heat wins and one or two decent finishes. You need to get experienced help or you’re never going nowhere.
Great kid and family. Has done alot starting with pretty much nothing. If I'm not mistaken, 2024 marks 6 years racing winged sprints. Unfortunately it looks like you have plateaued at a point that you aren't improving. Starts and restarts you seem to be tentative, no attack mode and no killer instinct. Watch the guys who move forward, they go for the lil holes that might be there and they make holes where there aren't any. Ya gotta get them elbows or you're at the point of wasting your time and money. We'd all love to see you on a national tour. Not being able to get into the main events in California this fall puts those chances further and further away. There was a kid who ran up in Chico about 10 years ago, I think his last name was Mason in a 22 car - I think. He could really get after it at Chico but take him down to Tulare, Hanford and Ocean Side and he was duck out of water. Jack Hewitt said it best. "if you're gonna run the bottom, you might as well get a job"

There's no one winning races with Tanner's Triple X chassis/Rider engine combo, I'm not sure why he's using it?
You guys will turn it around. Ride the waves man. Life’s good!
That was definitely a dust bowl. Good job, Tanner & team!
Keep your head up and the pedal down good job tanner good luck tomorrow!😊
Gotta find a couple more tenths in qualifying will really help your night go better

When you do not know what to do just go faster and that will change the way it feels. DO IT UNTIL YOU CAN'T!
Struggling? You're bankrupting your Dad.
You guys are new team trying to be a top 10 program for the nation. Big task but there are a ton of people pulling for you. Keep at it!
Pretty sure the Holmes team has been around 6 years now.
Why's it keep catching on fire?
Just drive the car and quit analyzing so much during the race and race, race, RACE!
I want to see a top-five or better tomorrow. You can do it.
You need a crew chief that knows the sport you have what it takes as a driver you lack in the setup department
ok
just make up your mind your going to the front, get pissed off if that's what it takes !!!
Quit thinking and talking about it, just do it.
Are you racing today?
