Band-Maid: a seamless, tight, forceful, energetic unit of one. In this group there is NO ONE star; each of these women is their own star and they are all shining very BRIGHTLY. They are all soloing together in a wonderful harmonic symphony. Each one of these fabulous ladies fulfills a very vital role in Band-Maid's fantastic and unique overall sound. Band-Maid I LOVE YOU ALL.
I agree about Magie. It was only watching the Kanami PRS video that made me realise just how great a riff it was. I might even put it number 1. Other contenders would be Shambles and Tamaya. I'd also say Get to the top but then I'd have to choose which one. Maybe Protect You to round out my top five. Forbidden Tale is easily my favourite of the songs that have MVs, but it's not really the riff that stands out to me.
I’m sure with you on Forbidden Tale, but as a regular viewer of the channel may I say I’m not that thrilled with this kind of video? You mentioned this video is an experiment, so this is my thought…ranking songs is difficult enough, but individual riffs? I dunno. A riff is just a riff without the song around it to give it beauty and meaning. Forbidden Tale is a perfect example. Overall I guess I prefer the “News” part of Maid News Network. MNN remains my #1 source for Maid news.
I only disagree with Protect You. Sure it works great in that song, and hits hard and all, but if we’re just putting the riff up against all the others, then it can’t be top 5 for me. The Shambles riff beats it, easily. I’m more than happy with the Forbidden Tale riff at the top spot… it just feels perfect to me, and was a brilliant choice to revisit it to close out the song.

Letters to You is a superlative riff ! I loved it the first time I heard it ! ❤️
Fun watch!! Shambles is my favorite riff on the album. My favorite out of the catalog might be Liberal. Shout outs to Dice and DLMD as well.

Magie, great music, but not crazy about the lyrics, and the key it's in sounds a little high for Saiki voice.
@Eddie-qx7cx this was about the riffs only. Top 5 songs on the album would look different
I would switch the Shambles riff with Brightest Star on your list and keep everything else the same.
Shambles is my favorite
