The small arco bag in the wood color is on my wishlist. Watching your video, I think I should go to the boutique and check it out myself because you never know what works for you until you see it in person (the small arco and the small puzzle bag as well, though I'm leaning towards the midnight blue/black puzzle rather than the sand/mink one). I was never interested in the padded cassette bag, but it looks cute on you! I think we have similar tastes on handbag styles (understated without loud logos, good leather quality, bags with shoulder straps, etc.) I'll be looking forward to your handbag collection video :)
Hi! Yes the small Arco is so beautiful, but I was interested in the tan color which they didn't have at the boutique. When I saw the padded cassette in this fondant color I was so drawn to it because of how chocolatey it looks in the sunlight! Thank you so much for watching!
I think I'd rather to go in black than the one I have. Mine is lavender and I'm little disappointed, too small inside just fit the keys phone and small wallet and also if I wore black outfits the color stays in the back of the bag
Hi! I'm not sure if I can compare them comprehensively in a video because they are very different bags! The BV has a smaller capacity: with a small wallet, phone, and a small pouch its already full. The Loewe is roomier, and fits in addition to the above, sunglasses, a few snacks 😆, with some room to spare. It depends on your lifestyle, but for me the Puzzle bag is a lot more carefree and casual, and can be carried hand-held, or on the shoulder. The BV is a bit more delicate because the leather is softer as well, but looks really classy and can be a great finishing touch to an otherwise simple outfit. I hope this might help you a bit!
I saw someone loop unbuckle the strap and weave one side of the strap into the checked leather to make it a shorter shoulder bag.. Could be more stable like that
Which do you prefer the small puzzle or this bag? Is the leather on the BV delicate? Do you find the BV is as comfortable as the puzzle to wear crossbody? I have a small puzzle which I love and am deciding whether to get the padded cassette or another small puzzle. Capacity is not a consideration for me.
I definitely prefer the puzzle bag because mine is in grained leather and its much more "care free". I use it as my everyday throwaround bag and the BV is a bag I definitely find myself being more careful with. I think the puzzle is more comfortable as a cross body but the BV is by no means uncomfortable to wear! If capacity isn't an issue for you I would go for a padded cassette esp as you already have a small puzzle :) But I do have to say that the new monochrome puzzle bags are calling to me...
@@rui_etc thank you for your reply. The satin puzzles are beautiful but Loewe will only repair hardware within two years of purchase so I decided against it. I emailed customer service. I bought a mini puzzle recently which I also love but it’s been a few months and I already have a glazing issue on the side of the opening where the leather stretches. I went ahead and ordered a padded cassette dupe from Etsy. It is so much like the real thing(but with no branding inside)that I can’t bring myself to buy the authentic version. I’ve lost money on selling authentic BV bags in the past so I’m reluctant to buy new from the boutique.
@@654ujala I think that is a good choice! I also avoid matte/painted hardware because they never fare well with time even if they look amazing at first. Mainly referring to Dior's lady dior bags with the monochrome hardware... the chipping paint would drive me insane so I refuse to buy it Actually I've had a huge issue with BV padded cassette bag & its glazing (inner corner where two sides meet), which I plan to make a video about sometime soon... but basically I've already been given 2 replacement bags thanks to my amazing SA and I haven't used it since because I'm scared that it will also ruin the glazing the second I take it out. BV has told me that its a "unavoidable aspect" which in my opinion is a design flaw that they get away with simply because most people don't inspect their bags after every use like I do 😅
Hi! I actually had the glaze (glue?) on the corner rip when I didn’t even use the bag and Bottega replaced it (again). I honestly think this bag has a lot of design flaws
I guess that ... the reason that you had an instant "crush" ... on this bag ... when you saw it "in person" ... is what I call "the 6 pack effect" 😃... because the way is padded ... pretty much replicates the way ... the (well worked) male abdomen looks ... and feels 😃 ... to the woman's eyes & touch. 🙂
