Love that padded cassette SO much! Last year I bought a vintage Bottega cosmetic pouch which looks super similar to the mini Jodie, and so pleased I got that because now the prices have gone up so much for vintage Bottega
I found a gorgeous authentic BV white ball hobo in Goodwill 2 weeks ago for $5.49..they didn't know what they had! It was dirty..I sanitized it, cleaned it, and conditioned...looks beautiful..It was the best $5.49 I ever spent.
Thats the chic about Bottega... it doesn’t need the tag, the monogram. You just look at the shape and know. The only problem is not being to practice also because of the shape hahaha love your style xx

Hello - can you please do a wear and tear video for your BV bags? It would be good to hear of their condition after 4-5 years. Please also include details of how often you actually wear them and whether you baby them etc. That is always interesting information because bags that are not really worn will of course continue to look good even after a long time. I fuck with Goyard mostly but Goyard is too popular now. The Bottega I bought in Tianjin, China was extremely exclusive...there were only 5 available in the color I bought in ALL of China. Just added a wallet to my collection.

What do you think, would it be better ... for this wonderful bag, the padded cassette ... to have an inner lining - possibly made of a thinner leather ?
P.S.: We are talking hypothetically ... so, hypothetically, in order not to become less roomy with the added inner lining ... the bag can have one centimeter more - in all three directions. Sometimes, one centimeter more ... can make all the difference. 🙂

I dunno but i can fit a lot with my bottega mini pouch unlike what people said about it not able to fit things. You can push the leather on the sides outwards which gives you more space. I can fit a small umbrella, card holder with six pockets, an atomizer with sunscreen, atomizer with alcohol, atomizer with perfume, iphone charger, 2 lip products, concealer, eyedrops and a mask. I can even put more thats flat like a passport or earphones. I usually hold my phone 11 but i also can fit it inside.
I had to laugh when you were talking about the mini pouch in winter. I am exactly your height and I got My Small boy in the winter and first day I wore it out with a teddy coat on and felt Really ridiculous with the bag that looked like it was shrunk

Mine it’s called ‘brown’. While the ‘tan’ it’s a darker, more brown-ish shade xx
The caramel one is called “almond.” There is a lighter tan one called “porridge.” The white is “chalk.”
