The 39th overall pick for Memphis Jaylen Wells made a game-winner as time expired as Memphis defeated Philadelphia, 87-85.
Wells contributed a team-high 27 points to go with 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 three pointers, with Cam Spencer adding an additional 18 points (7-14 FG, 3-7 3P) and 18 points in the game.
Jeff Dowtin Jr. finished with a team-high 18 points along with 6 assists for the 76ers in the losing effort. Jared McCain added 12 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds, along with 3 three pointers made.
The Grizzlies improve their record to 1-1 with the win, while the 76ers fall to 1-1.
