- I originally tried using the Octatrack and Analog Four together, but got overwhelmed and went with the Digitakt instead.

Getting Julie & Candy vibes from this one. That's a compliment!
Thank you! I have to check them out :)

Spot on! Great stuff here
Woaw. I'm impressed. This is some next level performance on the DT. You singlehandedly prove the DT is so much more than what most believe it can be, and that it is still one of the most relevant pieces of hardware there is on the market.
This is inspiring and shows me I have much more to learn and practice. Awesome! :-).
Much love from Belgium.
Thanks.
Thank you very much! The DT is my first piece of hardware, and still my favorite :D
Very well done 👏
It appears I have much to learn when it comes to using my Digitakt.
Amazing work.
Thank you very much, man!
I love it! So deep rhythmically, such a beautiful melody. Just awesome!
Thank you very much!
I keep coming back to your channel. Those are some great tunes, keep' coming!
Thanks a lot, man!
Gorgeous. Seemingly simple, yet so sophisticated.
Thank you very much!
new Ivar day 🔥
🙏
I have to bow down. Beautiful and such a lesson on the DT!!! Awesome.
Thank you very much, man!
You work so seamless and fluid. So brilliant!
Thank you!
This is stellar. Thanks Ivar!
Thank YOU!
So so good. When you unroll everything towards the 0:50 mark, it’s bliss. ❤
Thank you very much, man!
You are
master Ivar ! And composition is so good and nice to listen 🔥
Thank you!
I found this randomly. Incredible tune and without a DAW!!!
This is great
Thanks!
Amazing as always
Thanks, man!
man, the hi-fi fat crisp timbral quality of the dac on the digitakt is so perfect. you realy know how to make the most of that charatcer
Thank you very much, man! It's extra nice now that it has samplerate reduction :D
Bumpin
Thank you!
That's inspirationally good
Thanks a lot!
amazing tones, this sounds so haunting and emotional at the same time.
Thank you very much, man!
lovely track !!!
Thank you!
Banger
🙏
Smooth as ever!
Thank you!
I really like this one.
Thanks a lot!
Whoa! Superb!
Thanks a lot!
Damn I love that melody.
Thanks a lot!
Props man this beat is filthy. I got a Roland Verselab and I do similar beats to this. Keep it up.
Thanks a lot, man!
Au top 👍
Thanks!
Finally someone that knows how to make music in the digitakt
Thanks!
really nice!
Thanks!
Sensei capo maestro master crack
Hehe, thank you! 🙏
Beautiful track !
Thank you!
Fantastic as always Ivar! Are you using the Digitakt's compressor on this jam?
Thanks a lot! Yeah, I'm using the master compressor. I have this fake sidechain trick where I heavily boost the kicks with a hp filter, then use the compressor to push it back down. That said, I did run the whole signal through a "mastering" FX chain in post!
nice one bud!
Thanks, man!
Ho no....Another awesome track....
Thanks a lot!
beautiful
Thank you!
What was the lead melody from? Was it from another Elektron box or was it one of factory presets? It's beautiful.
Oops, I forgot to actually answer! All the melodic sounds are one-shot samples of my patches from the Analog Four and Digitone. I sequenced all the melodies using these one-shot samples on the Digitakt itself :)
Pleeeeease do a tutorial on the creation of this amazing song!
Can you tell me the manufacturer or seller of your USB Cable. It fits perfect. Many other cables has to long connectors let me feel unsafe.
It's the cable that came with my Digitakt. It's braided and has the Elektron branding on it :)
sounding so nice...
deciding between the mkii and the digitakt as a first-time elektron buyer. any thoughts?
Thank you! If you're thinking Digitakt vs Analog Rytm mk2, I would pick the Digitakt. The Rytm is a great instrument, but I didn't gel with the workflow, despite having analog filters and distortion per track, analog drum sounds, analog master compressor, and analog master overdrive.
The Digitakt doesn't have as many features as the Rytm, but because of this it's faster and easier to use, which suits me perfectly. I had the Rytm for a month or two, but had a hard time finishing tracks on it. I'm sure I could get on with it if I spent more time with it, but at the time I already had the Syntakt which covered the analog drum sounds of the Rytm and the Digitakt covered the sampling side of the Rytm.
I sold the Rytm and still have the Digitakt, but it's subjective and the Rytm might suit you better.
Thanks for the response, man! I think I'm going to go with the Digitakt. I feel the same way - its limitations would actually be better for creativity!@@IvarTryti
so goddamn fucking awesome!
Thank you!
yo sick vid but, why is your import/export button different than mine? :o
Hehe thanks, man. It's the song mode button from my Analog Four, I swapped them to make a little joke post on a forum. I never did, and I'm too lazy to switch them back :D
🙏
How are there effects on this?
The Digitakt has two send effects: a reverb and a delay. It also has a master compressor. Each of the channels has a multimode resonant filter (and a lowpass/highpass), overdrive, bit reduction and sample rate reduction. A lot of the magic happens when you use the LFOs to modulate the track parameters :D
It sounds spacy electro ike Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze, but You explain nothing what you are doing with subtitles.
