I have had one of these for years but I could not get it to work very well. I drill a hole in the back of mine, allowed about 1/4 inch of screw to be exposed and now I can open 90% of whatever I try. I hope to get even better! Thanks for the info and help from down under. G'day

So that screw backing out farther is supposed to make it more tight? Mine is the opposite.
