The best use of it was in Hell Bent ending. Clara's theme plays while he looks at the memoriam of her on his TARDIS, steps into his TARDIS, 'A good Man' plays... The doctor is reborn No dialogue, just the doctor being the best version of himself
So… every one of the Twelfth Doctor’s appearances, and no others, with precisely two exceptions: The Day of the Doctor, for obvious and fairly trivial reasons, and Sleep No More. Again, given the format of that episode, hardly surprising. So basically every 12 episode :)
Gotta love Twice Upon A Time's soundtrack, the special was tacked on at short notice when Moffat realised Chibnall wasn't making one, Murray Gold dind't have time to do an original score for it so he just grabbed a greatest hits CD of about 12 years of work on the show and it was magnificent!
idk if it was just me being obsessed over every detail but i swear a short variant of a good man played in 'the star beast' whenever the doctor sonics through the fence at the meep's ship crash site about 6 minutes in
This is my absolute favorite song in the show. Idk how people think its overused, it fills me with such happiness and adrenaline and excitement every single time!
@@CultOfThirteen Off the top of my head, I know it plays in: Series 5: Eleventh Hour Flesh and Stone The Vampires of Venice The Big Bang Series 6: The Doctor's Wife A Good Man Goes to War Let's Kill Hitler The Girl Who Waited Closing Time The Wedding of River Song Series 7: The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe The Angels Take Manhattan Day of the Doctor Time of the Doctor Series 8: The Caretaker Series 9: The Husbands of River Song Series 10: The Pilot Twice Upon a Time (bit of a stretch, but I like to think it's there when 1 enters 12's Tardis for the first time) If I think of any other episodes, I'll reply with a separate comment.
I felt the same about I Am the Doctor, but at least they varied it up with a multitude of different renditions, i.e. The Majestic Tale and Up the Shard.
Why is it everyone forgets about the opening where it sounds like a music box. It's good and I personally preferbit over the more dramatic section of the song

Whoever was the composer for Class really knew what they were doing
Blair Mowatt

Twice Upon A Time's "A Good Man" is pure triumph. It's the appropriate music to hear when your younger self tells you he is proud of you
the sound of someone trying their damn hardest and sometimes, when they're lucky, succeeding :')
"Clara, be my pal. Tell me...am I a good man?"
Ironically, my favourite version is the final version. So heroic and what a way for Murray Gold to bow out of his original 12-year stint as composer.
15:47 goes unbelievably hard. Gets me every time 🥺
What a brilliant and triumph piece of music. Definitely my favourite soundtrack of all of Doctor Who apart from the main theme.

Can't bieve they still haven't released the series 10 soundtrack
im convinced the intro gets louder every episode
Fair, but it’s a banger am I right?
4:37 a sick combination of 11th and 12th doctors themes.
Do you know if it's on any soundtracks?
Apparently Moffat wanted to keep I Am The Doctor for this series or at least bring it back here - this was was the compromise Gold made
@@wolfwarrior9451 and yes it’s been released on the series 8 soundtrack - ‘majestic tale of an idiot with a box’
I loved all different variations of the twelfth doctors main theme! 😊😊
EASILY my favorite soundtrack in all of Who. It's so hopeful, so intense. Just listening to it again makes me tear up. I miss Capaldi so much...
Best Doctor theme out there and that's saying something as all of them are great.
idk if it was just me being obsessed over every detail but i swear a short variant of a good man played in 'the star beast' whenever the doctor sonics through the fence at the meep's ship crash site about 6 minutes in
So every 12 episode except Sleep No More, which makes sense.
Unpopular opinion but i actually really enjoyed the caretaker. It felt a lot more familiar and i found the doctor to be great in it.
I should re-watch it again lol
People give it shit because the robot looks like it's from Sarah Jane Adventures but it's not like it's the focus. The drama in it is quite good
Holy fuck they were right it literally is practically every episode
Oh well at least it slaps
This is my absolute favorite song in the show. Idk how people think its overused, it fills me with such happiness and adrenaline and excitement every single time!
THANK YOU! You earned my subscription! 🤩
Let's gooooo. One of my favourite songs in doctor who!
Oh man 9:29 is making me miss Class
Peter capaldi was one of the best next to eccelston and tennant
Best theme tune… yeah
Great vid I didn't realise they were many versions
Any plans to do one of Madman With a Box? There's heaps of different variations in Series 6.
Sadly I’m not quite sure every episode it plays in.

Thank you for this. 😀 Hopefully this is a video we can do now.
Awesome. What about every episode Vale plays?
Every time madman in a box plays?
Do the man that stops the monsters
I love this theme but by Series 10 it was feeling a bit overused.
I felt the same about I Am the Doctor, but at least they varied it up with a multitude of different renditions, i.e. The Majestic Tale and Up the Shard.
I will never tire of hearing those classics imo. 😀
Its unfortunate but for me the series ended with 12 i feel like he should not have regenerated
