With Ferguson gone Conan is the least mainstream talkshow host in the US. I'm also not sure what this whole thing is about, both Conan and Andy seems to think Noel is hilarious.
Noel seemed awkward, and although Conan and Andy may have liked Noel, it felt awkward to watch.
I guess Noel's used to getting kind of surreal when he's on stage, so maybe interviewing in front of an audience that definitely doesn't completely get his comedy, if they've even heard of him would be a bit awkward even if the host is a fan.
conan strikes me as someone who might like boosh though. he was the one who brought a more surrealistic approach to the Simpsons after all.

I saw the Mighty Boosh at the Roxy in 2009. They were amazing! The last 20 or 30 minuets was them performing songs dressed as Nannys. They really knew how to work the crowd and at the very end invited everyone on stage to dance while Naboo DJ'ed. :D

I'm an American and I totally love Noel, but I feel like this was the wrong platform for him to come and promote himself... very few people here understand, let alone appreciate British humor. Not many people here will really realize how brilliant Noel really is!

I have to admit he is really growing on me. I’ve looked him up because I saw him on the IT crowd show which was brilliant. His portrayal of a Goth server manager was just utterly brilliant and original

Noel fielding is awesome btw mighty boosh and even nevermind the buzzcocks were good. I will be honest and that I didnt really like his luxury comedy show though.

It's sad, really, but the only time the Mighty Boosh was on in America (to my knowledge) was during the wee hours of the night on Adult Swim. And they've been off for a while.
Still, it was big on the internet and nerd circles and a lot of Conan's fanbase comes from those groups.
