- In battle stadium after the first season of Regulation H officially ended, Meowscarada was placed 7th highest out of all of the other pokemon in the Reg H format. Meaning it was against the top tiers of Dragonite, Ursaluna, and more almost legendary pokemon and still holding it's own. So today I wanted to see just why the Paldea starter was placed so highly. I'll be taking Meowscarada with Skeledirge onto the BSS Battle Stadium VGC Singles ladder for Reg H and seeing just how much work i can put in with it!

It’s all the more fitting that one of the heroes in “Pokémon Horizons” is a Meowscarada (or at least they soon will be), closely followed by another who’s the even Bigger competitive champion Skelidirge (or soon-to-be).

ISTG IF THEY GAVE THIS THING SNIPER WE WERE COOKED-
But since you did a vid on starters, i have a skelidirge set that catches people off guard since everyone sees support not sweep.
Basically: 44HP, 172 DF, Max spatk, 40 speed. Item is AV and the 4 moves are Scorching sands/E power, Allure voice, T Song and Shadow ball. Tera fairy and you got a tank not only defensively, but a tank shooting nukes onto other mons. Also Unaware just in case you thought blaze.
Also, my cousin had his battle with his friend (Gen 7 OU Pokemon showdown) and we smoked his friend so hard.
Btw (dont have to read this showdown) zapdos got into OU and hoopa U is getting seen! Weather has ranked down and okidogi and it has been CRAZY!
That sounds like a super interesting Dirge set! Most the ones i’ve seen have been max hp max physdef with wisp, slack, torch and shadow ball but i love the idea of running a more offensive variant with those added coverages!
And i saw about the UU tier over on twitter - it’s WILD what’s going on down there with such strong mons like Zap and Weavile falling down to UU, i might dabble in showdown content at some point 👀
