Careful doing this procedure! Good tutorial here, not downing that. Nothing anywhere warns you, but removing and reinstalling the front clip or front windshield could cause the adaptive cruise control to get out of sync. My truck is at the dealer right now getting it calibrated to work again. Not covered under warranty! Normal time for this procedure is 4.5 hours (est. at $850). They cut me a break because I was a bit pissed off and are doing it for $300. Still, a $100 light bar is costing me close to $500...
I'm ignorant as hell, do you mind explaining which clip and explain g the windshield thing. I want to do this in my 2024 but definitely don't want to end up at the dealership coughing up $850. TIA.
@@Al-Gore-ithm The front of the truck (grill and plastic assembly that has to all come off to get to this position to mount a light bar behind the grill) is the front clip. If you ever need your front windshield replaced, there's a good chance it could also trigger needing a recalibrate as well (since the cruise control camera is behind it/part of your rearview mirror assembly).

I had a 22” light bar on my truck for several years. Wisconsin winters killed it! Not very cost effective for the life span of the light bar.
Battery should be disconnected when unplugging all those connections!
I ordered this kit and they sent me the brackets and two 10 inch led light bars. It's not gunna work.
