Great instal and not trying to take away from anything but to show other ideas for your viewers if they only plan on installing the ditch lights. How I normally do my install is by using a fuse tap. I find the fuse that only has power with accessories mode/run on and that won’t interfere with anything needed to operate the truck I.E fuel pump or ECU. My favorite is cigarette or any charging port. Even though the fuse tap adds an additional lower amperage fuse design to blow before blowing the original fuse I prefer to play it safe. This method is great is you only plan on adding one or two additional accessories instead of adding an additional fuse/relay box. The reason I look for non constant power if incase you forget to leave them on they cut off as soon as you cut off the truck. I also look for oem style switch to replace one of the dummy non functional switch. I do this for the oem look and avoid having a switch panel. However I only recommend my method if you only plan on adding one accessory where a switch panel would be over kill just for one thing.
Thanks man, I appreciate that!...and yea absolutely, totally agree with ya there...switch panels are definitely overkill for 1 or 2 mods...thanks for posting the info for everyone!
@@NitroZ18FishingI have for my 17 cumins love them but can’t get them line up with the height of my truck. Can you please help or share some tips. Also what kind of tires are those on your truck they look awesome.
@Anthony, yea lemme see if I can help, what do ya mean by they won’t line up with the height of your truck?…I’m not sure I understand what’s going on My tires are Kenda Klever RT’s, hands down my favorite tires I’ve ever ran, here’s a link for them if ya wanna check em out!…I got mine off Amazon, they had the best price when I purchased amzn.to/3TChvck
@@NitroZ18Fishing so no matter what I do they don’t level with each other. Like seems like one is going in one direction and the other is going the other.
Thanks for the install video. Saved me a ton on those hood brackets. I think the brackets you use are way easier to install and they look better. Can’t wait to do the covert bumper and winch install. Keep up the good work. Your tuck looks awesome as well.
Do you worry about them being stolen? Doesn’t seem too secure, but that’s me not knowing how other mounts are. I always thought they would go under the hood.
Yea that's a little concern, they're really not on there all that well...all someone would have to do is take that black plastic piece off and undo bolt...so far so good but it's definitely not the most secure option!
I was debating on some ditch lights for my 18 platinum specifically amber color. I have the NSV hood bulge lightbar (absolutely awesome output) but it's virtually useless is heavy fog and snow. At this point I will probably need to acquire a light control panel as my factory switches are all used. Ugh. Truck looking good as always. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!… Much appreciated!… I know what you mean about fog/snow, I've considered getting different lights in Amber for that reason… I just much prefer the light output on the clear lenses, I totally agree they are useless in heavy fog/snow!
curious because i just installed these with the same brackets but flipped towards the truck inside and the wiper blade barely taps the bracket for the pods when in use. does yours touch? i ended up drilling new holes in the pod brackets to offset them and now have over an inch of clearance from the wiper for peace of mind.
Hey, so I just installed the same lights with the brackets you suggested. My driver side light shakes more than I feel it should while driving. I'm curious if you noticed this on yours. Any info would be much appreciated. I installed mine on a 22 limited trdoffroad. Also great job on the detailed video. Also nice truck.
Hey Jeff!...thanks man, I appreciate that!...hmmm, that's weird, I don't have any shaking...they're solid on there...stupid question, ya double checked to make sure all bolts were tight?...where mounts sit on truck, and the bolts that hold lights to brackets?...it's gotta be something simple I would think, I know a couple others that have used them and no problems...and it's only the driver side?...let me know and we'll see if we can figure it out!
Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I doubled checked the main bolt that holds the fender. I'll go through and check the other bolts. Separate question for you. How do you manage storage inside the truck without having that storage under the seat? I'm debating on getting a hybrid cause I really enjoy that storage, however I really want that extra horse power too. Haha
No prob!...lemme know if ya find anything with the other bolts and if it fixes the issue for ya I definitely recommend going with a hybrid… I test drove a non-hybrid and you can definitely feel the extra power!… Check out my video on the swing cases, that's what I use for storage to make up for lack of room under the rear seat… They're awesome, and easy to install… A lot of my viewers went that route after seeing my video, they can definitely hold a decent amount for ya!...here's a link to that video if ya wanna check em out! th-cam.com/video/4OY2YXEZsUI/w-d-xo.html
Hey, so I turned the angle off the brackets. I had the bottom of the bracket edge flush with the panel of the truck. So by turning it to where the bracket is now getting a straight on wind flow it doesn't seem to move now. Thanks again
Thank you!...yea I stumbled upon these brackets and figured I'd try em out since they were so cheap...glad I did, I like the way they fit better than the expensive ones!...thanks for watching!

You have become my go to for modifying my 22 platinum. Going to conquer the light pod setup today with some Rigid SS spots.
That's awesome, I appreciate all the support!...if I can ever help with anything just say the word!
That truck is monumental! I’ll own one of those one day after college graduation lol
Thanks man, I appreciate that!...good luck with school, and trust me, this truck is worth the wait!

Your low beams on while your high beams and trd light bar is on too?
Nice job I just ordered gonna do the same thing I like them sitting there vs on the hood hinge. They are more out of the way
Thanks man!...yea I totally agree, these mounts are much more compact/low profile, and sturdy for their size...thanks for watching!
Great video! Gives me a little more confidence in installing my own. Thanks!
Thank you, I appreciate it!… Let me know if I can help at all!
Another outstanding video, Thank you for all the detail as always.
Thanks man!… I appreciate it!
Another fantastic install video. Looks like that light would work really well in my kayak 👊😎
Thanks buddy!... these things are insanely bright!

I’m looking for the links to the brackets and lights but cannot find them. Can you help?
Yes sir, no prob!...here's the link for the lights
lddy.no/119do
And here's the brackets

The link says for F150? These fit the 2024 TundrA?
Yes sir! They’re almost universal, they definitely worked well for me, hope that helps!

I was wondering about wiper clearance as well.
Thanks! Any wind noise?
No problem, thanks for watching!… I haven't noticed any difference at all with wind noise, hope that helps!

Nice!...glad to hear ya got it straightened out!
Does these brackets fit the 2024 tundra
Yepper, the 24 is exactly the same as far as the mounting locations
Thank you!
Nice, wish I had seen this video… bought those expensive bracket… regret it
