The Godfathers of European Power Metal! I am still so happy that Kai Hansen and Michael Kiske have returned to the band after being gone for so many years. Helloween has many amazing songwriters, but in my opinion Kai Hansen is the best one. The current lineup is phenomenal and their most recent album is amazing! Excellent video !

Agree. I dont know if I am in minority here, but I always appreciated more Kai Hansen talent. Best Helloween heritage after his departure were Gamma Ray albums. Helloween was ok with Deris but real talent and outstanding music was in the Gamma Ray side (also I liked much more Scheepers and Hansen voice than Deris).

Ahh finally, one of my favorite metal bands of all time! Very consistent and all three vocalists are incredible and have their strengths and weaknesses. Obviously my favorite Helloween album of Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt.2, it's a masterpiece man. This video should bring more exposure towards them cause their still making great music, especially their latest album being one of my favorites from 2021.
I have to say I loved Helloween from the first time I heard I Want Out also. I have to disagree with what you said about Pink Bubbles Go Ape though, that was one of the most bizarre, fun and crazy albums that came out around that time. Everyone was taking the music so serious and they come out and stuff it let's have some fun with this. Something I wish more bands would have the guts to do. P.S. I love your channel and the work you do. Amazing content.
Keepers of the Seven Keys 2....brings tears of joy to my eyes....no shit. That Eagle Fly Free.....just such positive power metal man!! I remember doing my high school homework with this stuff playing in the background. Ohhh man. Some great feel the power metal. The title track is one of their greatest epics if not the greatest. My brain knows the melodies on that album so well, it is forever weaved into my heart. Plays on a massive nostalgia thread.
took me time to realize what a great vocalist Andi Deris is, Helloween is probably one of my favorite and Markus Grosskopf is such an underrated bass player. great video.
What a great retrospective on my favorite band. I kind of wish more people knew about Helloween, the music is amazing, and the story is remarkable. For all (well, most) of the original members to be together forty years later, is something most bands never get to experience.
I was home watching HBB(dont ask me what I was doing home on a Saturday night). ''I Want out'' video played, I was also hooked immediately. I went up and spent every dime I had on Walls of Jericho, the live in Scotland, and Keepers 1&2. I got some of my fellow Metal Heads into them as nobody in my neighborhood heard of them(Queens NY). Till this day, I know parts 1&2 word for word.
I love all the albums! They all have some unique experience to offer. Also I remember when I started to listen to Helloween and GammaRay (in 2011), I dreamt of a reunion, but when they finally reunited and went with Pumpkins united, I couldn't stop crying of joy. Long live the pumpkins!
The 5 seconds after the line “Throw the second key into the sea of fear” might be one of the most important consecutive 5 seconds in metal history. And perhaps, the world.
I was listening to Walls of Jericho just a while ago and got a notification on your channel covering my favorite band Helloween was my 2004 high school days favorite and still is as of today...if my friend didn't recommend me them...i would have miss a big and amazing band thank you for the video and now i will listen to their new recent album since i didn't knew about it till now my favorite album has been always Walls of Jericho and the 3 keeper of the seven keys albums...again thank you Metal School 🎃
Great video as always! I first found Walls of Jericho on cassette back in 1988 as a 15 year old and was instantly blown the F away by it. Markus Grosskopf should get a special mention for being one of the best bass players in all metal. Fluid, melodic and always adding some spice to their songs. He's great. Anyhow, I quickly tracked down Keeper Part 2 a month or two later and obviously also blown away. I would say that all Helloween in the 1980s is mandatory. They also have a rare accomplishment: a live release that is awesome. I Want Out Live (aka Live in the UK) captures this lineup at the best with lots of funny stage banter as well. They disappeared off my radar after the 80s because many European metal bands lost their stateside distribution. I didn't hear Pink Bubbles or Chameleon for several years after their release. Pink Bubble is just the sound of a band clueless about what they wanted to do. However, I am one of those defenders of Chameleon. Granted, it's not a Helloween by the numbers album, but there's great songs plus Kiske's singing is outstanding throughout. If you go into it knowing it's an oddity in their discography, it'll probably sound better. Although I somewhat enjoy Master of the Rings, I just never got into Andi Deris' trip. He's competent but it just didn't do much for me. Master, incidentally, came out with a great 9 song bonus disc with cover songs and other fun stuff that is worth tracking down. I liked the bonus disc better than the actual album. After Master, I honestly just tuned out of the Helloween thing. I heard albums but I just couldn't really connect with them. That said, I really am curious to hear the latest one with Kiske and Hansen back on board. What I saw in this video makes me wonder if a triple vocalist approach might be the secret sauce for the band. Hopefully they will tour for it and I'll finally get to check them out live!
Overall, Helloween really has a much more consistently good catalog of albums than many people realize. Sure, Keeper ! and 2 are legendary, but once Andi Deris took his place behind the microphone, it has been one solid release after another. "Better Than Raw" and "The Dark Ride" are particular favorites of mine, and the brand new album with the full reunion lineup is just amazing.
I love their early work with Kai but this band has been anything except consistent. The post 80s albums are pure cringe. Too many lineup changes. The later releases have redeemable qualities although there is a lot to sift through just to find the gems.
Maybe the best documentary ever made about the unforgettable german Helloween! Many details I didn't know. Keep that way up! Greetings from Cuenca, Ecuador.
Great summary of my favorite band. I'd say there should have been a little extra mention on Dani Loble's work. His drumming is incredible especially on 7 Sinners. He allowed them to get back to heavy and fast. Long Live The King is thunderous. He's more than just the next in their line of drummers
Perfect example of how a young band should progress. They were average players on Walls Of Jericho and by Keeper Of The Seven Keys II they were stomping a mudhole on every other Metal band musically and creatively. All the bands that sprouted from Helloween says it all. From Gamma Ray to Masterplan all excellent bands.
Boy, I miss the early days of metal where bass players would actually take flight here and there and weren’t just constantly glued to the rhythm guitar.
Great video and legendary band. I've been a fan since I first caught the heavily edited "Halloween" video on MTV and quickly ran out and bought the album the next day. Much to my pleasant surprise, that awesome song was actually even more amazing than I could have imagined. Saw them on the Keepers tour and was lucky enough to meet them. I flew from Florida to Los Angeles to catch the Pumpkins United tour a few years ago and it was fantastic. The new album is just ridiculously good. Thanks for the cool history!
Thanks Metal School, once again you nailed it mate ,I loved this band as a teenager and still do, certainly one of the most melodic and speed driven metal bands of all time ,I love all there 80s stuff and better than raw was just brilliant , and gambling and 7sinners has some great stuff on them , will check out there latest album, once again thanks mate keep up the great work , And keep banging that head 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Pink Bubbles Go Ape is speed/power metal without neoclassical cliches. That's why it sounds weird :) Kids of the Century is an excellent song. And c'mon, Crazy Cat from Chameleon is great :) But definitely the two odd albums in the Helloween's chest. Great video, by the way! :)
Took me 30+ years to see them live. I was too young during the Keeper era and I wasn't as big of a fan of the Andy era when they came to my city after the Kiske years. I boarded a plane and flew across the country to catch the Pumpkins United tour was absolutely worth the time/money/effort to give memories of 16 year old me such joy.
Pink bubbles was the first album of Helloween I've heard and it's awesome. And "your turn" is so majestic. It's one of the best ballads ever written. I didn't understand "Chameleon" when it was released, but it's great when you stop thinking of a band in a metal paradigm. It's like a Queen record - no style limitations
Omg, I saw this and thought this was awesome. I did not know the length of the video. By the time I realized how long it really was, I noticed how much I was enjoying the video. This was a great video of one of my favorites. I learned so much more about them thanks to you!! Thank you for your work! It was excellent!
Hello, I came across your channel here on TH-cam by chance and so far I'm very enthusiastic about the videos I've watched and subscribed to you right away. I also think your video here about the creative phase of Helloween, the power metal band from Germany, is very successful. Greetings also from Germany. 🤘
I love this show/channel. Got into Helloween (as I assume most Americans) with Keeper one. Loved Walls of Jerico. Ride the Sky!! EDIT: 5:07 And there it is!
Thanks very much for this great video!!! I.m.o., Michael Kiske completed a great band, but with Kai being it's mastermind. He dominated song writing and also guitar solos - This made Keeper I possible, which is a unique masterpiece. Keeper II followed with more trivial contributions by Weikath and all in all was far below Keeper I. With Kai Hansen leaving, there was no real band left. The fantastic vocals by Kiske lost the track and as he always wanted to change his direction (but before, held in line by Kai) - Helloween had no more to give. The Kiske/Weikath albums were not worth mentioning and so was every release thereafter. Also the Schwichtenberg-farewell (RIP) didn't help. You can still feel the spirit decades later, when Kiske and Hansen play live together with Helloween or Unisonic. It's like: an absolutely unique Metal-guitarrist like Kai Hansen had a his good season with an overwhealming vocalist. The rest is not worth mentioning. (this is how I experienced the Helloween time)....
While I had been listening to Powermetal for a little while, it's not until Helloween that I *really* started to listen to it. It just so happened to be my choice of metal subgenre before then. Helloween forced me to realize how damn excellent it is, and shit that I'd been missing in a lot of the music I was listening to. I'm seeing them live in July, and I couldn't be more excited
My intro to power metal! I bought Keepers 2 in 1995 (yeah, late) and went back and picked up everything else I could find. I'm not going into why this band was important for me, and so important for the genre, but I lived and breathed these guys for a decade. I still buy every new album on day one! Great retrospective. You were very thorough and covered about as much as possible! RIP Ingo RIP Smitty - my best friend and co-Helloween freak Let the metal in and it'll never leave!!!
Eagle Fly Free.. I'm Alive .. keeper of the seven keys are imo his most stand out works and i'm not even a drummer , i play bass , but i highly regard Ingo , always will.. Truly enjoy his plays
Yeeeeeeeah!!!!! One of my favorite bands. So much love. Have been waiting so much for this!!! Thank you, great job my man. 🤘🏻🎃🤘🏻 Edit: Actually Mr. Ego was a "diss" to Michael kiske.
@@TabithaReminiec3399 Michael Kiske. When the band split in late 1993 the band was fed up with Michael because of the direction he pushed the band in.
My discovery of Helloween took place in the mid-90s. A friend of mine had the compilation The Best, The Rest, the Rare and I was completely blown away! They instantly became one of my all-time favorite bands and still are today.
"I Want Out" was my introduction to Helloween (as in, seeing the video on Headbanger's Ball). I fell so hard in love with Michael Kiske's voice. I remember then buying the cd, and when "Eagle Fly Free" came and went, I was left an emotional mess... I thought I loved Bruce Dickenson's vocal range, but man, with Kiske and his (even more) vocal range, I was crying😭, his voice was so beautiful... I remember going to the Headbanger's Ball tour at the Civic Center in Atlanta, with Anthrax, Exodus, and Helloween. seeing Helloween Live, and Michael Kiske perform, I was never the same, was a night to remember. I never knew about "Pumpkins United", and seems like I need to give Deris a chance, as alot of that stuff you showcased here in this video, I really liked. I kind of wrote off Helloween when Kiske left, kind of like how I did in the same retrospect, with Maiden. when Bruce left, it was never the same. but, Deris is pretty damn good, looks like I got a few Helloween records to listen to now, since I obv. ignored 'em in the past. thanks so much for an EPIC video!!🔥🔥
Headbangers Ball! Man that takes me back! I remember seeing I Want Out, I loved it. I ordered Keepers II through Columbia House/BMG, I literally still remember where I was when I popped it into my walkman (take that kids!) and heard Eagle Fly Free, I was hooked. Deris is great, the video really did describe him perfectly as a cross between Hansen and Kiske. Better Than Raw may be my favorite Helloween CD, yep, even above Keepers II, Deris can more than hold his own.
First of all thanks for doing this! It's a huge undertaking, but it was an hour that just flew by - well done. Favorite video quote "A guy that looks like the offspring of Beetlejuice and Kid Rock's better dressed younger brother." It was the "better dressed" part that made me pause it until my laughter subsided. Cheers mate!
Great video, I discovered Helloween in college right as Dragonforce's debut album of all things was making the rounds on our local shareware network, and I started searching for similar bands like Stratovarius and Nightwish, which eventually led me back to Helloween. Not too long after that I picked up their recently released "Treasure Chest" best of album here in the States, and ever since then they've been without question my favorite band! Aside from a couple of their most recent releases prior to their reunion with Kai and Kiske, they've been pretty consistent in album quality. It was such a blast going through their back catalog and the first time hearing the Keepers albums is something I'll never forget, but I gotta say the mid 90s - early 00s Deris era is criminally underrated. Aside from Keepers 1+2, the 4 albums they released with Deris before their 2nd major lineup change easily round out my Top 5 albums from the band (yes, even more than Walls of Jericho!).
My favorite albums are (in order of preference) 1. Walls of Jericho/ Helloween (2021 album) 2. Straight out of hell 3. Gambling with the devil (my favorite with Andi Deris) 4. My God given right 5. Keepers 1 I've been learning about them since I've been a fan for only a year. Before April 2nd of 2021, I didn't know about them. I've heard the name but never sat down to listen until my boyfriend showed me Skyfall video. I fell in love with the sound, the concept and I've been collecting their albums since then. They became my favorite band of all time. And I personally believe that Markus Grosskopf should get more credit for being an amazing bass player and songwriter, also Sascha has so many feelings and emotions expressed by his lyrics also deserves credit. Kai pure genius, I admire him so much, Weikath another genius with How many tears (among others) All of them give Helloween a special and unique touch. Love them.
Excellent documentary! Having toured with both Helloween and Gamma Ray, this video brought back lots of memories. Helloween are such an outstanding band, so was a pleasure to watch. Thanks.
Woah, hey thanks, Mark! Much appreciated. I’m definitely planning on doing a Jag Panzer video sometime too so hopefully that’ll bring back even more 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Very good! I just missed commenting on the best live album of all time! Live in UK I always try to listen to live bands, and see if they are really good because of this record. It was the first I heard from Helloween. High Live is also excellent as Grapow is needed when it comes to guitar solos.
Great as usual, though you did fail to mention "Sh*t and Lobster" from Pink Bubbles Go Ape. One of my fav tracks from that period of silliness. I also got into Helloween with "I Want Out" followed by "Perfect Gentleman". Also not sure if I mentioned them in the email I sent you a while back but you should look into Sinbreed. The singer sounds pretty darn close to Andi from Helloween and their style is similar.
I'm From Montreal and I saw Halloween in concert here about 5 years ago. It was their reunion tour. It was about a 3 hour concert with no opening band. I'm 51 years old and seen probably 1000 concerts in my lifetime and this one has to rank in my top two or three of all time. Seriously. Top two or three concerts of all time !!!!!!!
@@adamadeptus3686 I don't know but i went to Toronto last may 2023 to see them in concert with hammerfall opening. At the end of the concert the guitarist asked how many are here from Quebec realizing they skipped over Montreal.
My first ever concert was Anthrax, Exodus, & Helloween on the Headbanger’s Ball tour in 1989. It was their Keeper of the 7 Keys tour. I was mainly there for Anthrax but I loved Helloween at the time from their awesome I Want Out video & song, but the thrash fans mostly were not & Helloween got booed, which I thought was dumb. Still though, they put on a great show & did I Want Out which made me happy. I remember talking to Warrel Dane about a newer Helloween album & he asked if it’s happy music. I laughed & said, yeah, it kind of was. Surprising that both Running Wild & Helloween came from Hamburg. Having been to Hamburg on the Running Wild Victory tour, I caught a second concert from Running Wild (after Osnabruck opening night when I met them) in Hamburg & the fans there weren’t 1/100th as amped as Osnabruck. Maybe they’re used to them & it’s not a big deal. But there’s not much in Hamburg other than a huge knight statue, a sex museum, and the Reeperbahn where prostitutes line a nearby street; every 20’ was another one. You walk down the street, pick your prostitute (assuming you’re single. I was with an ex) , & go off to your hotel where a police station is nearby. All legal. It was an interesting trip!

Great video. Not sure if I can say this but they are probably my favourite band just based on the Keeper albums. Like most bands from the Keeper era I can't seem to progress from their first 2 or 3 albums. Guess I'm just stuck in the 80's 🤘
Me too! I was initially gob-smacked by Kiske's firing, but I've got to admit that I was also thinking "WTF" when Chameleon came out, so perhaps no surprise. I really tried to continue with them, but I just couldn't take to Deris' voice. Nothing against the guy. He's probably a top geezer. I just don't like his singing. I then checked out what Kai had been up to with Gamma Ray. Why did I not do that sooner? If you haven't, do yourself a favour and do so. The first three albums with Ralf are good, but they seem to be trying to find their way. A shame, because he's an amazing singer. Land of the Free is a flawless masterpiece. If you like 80s Helloween, you'll love it. In fact, it's all great.
What an absolutely outstanding video this is. A crazy amount of work must have went into it. This channel will undoubtedly blow up in the very near future. Keep up the good work 🤘 Ps. Start a patreon, you need to get paid for this.
Unbelievable high quality content as always. Thank you for existing. That being said, I always thought that Kai felt unwanted, pretty sure I've read interviews about that many years ago, Kai was progressively "disrespected" and him leaving was unavoidable. Overall, you nuanced my appreciation of their later era (Deris needs praise in that context).
Ah, I've been looking forward to this one! 🥳😎🤘 Incidentally, I really dig Gamma Ray's No World Order! 🎸🎸🎸 (Also, great job on properly pronouncing those Teutonic names.) Finally, "I Want Out" was also my killer introduction to Helloween...Now, I'm kicking myself for dallying on the great self titled album I listed as main homework for today.😋
I loved Helloween, when Keeper part 2 came out I went and bought it as soon as I could. I was 13 and I couldn’t wait to get home from school to listen to it every day for at least a month.

It’s impressive how you compile all the archives videos, this channel is TH-cam gems 💎 My favourite album 💿 is “Keeper of the Seven Keys : The Legacy” and my favourite song 🎶 is by far “If I Could Fly” 😉
Keeper's albums encapsulates the brilliance of their songwriting..Kiske soaring voice takes to new heights..i bought their cassette first time in 89 and was blown away. This is melodic non satanic but still heavy fuckin' Metal. Epic..over 1 hour retrospective deserving by the 🎃
So awesome you do this. Helloween is one of my favorite metal bands. I enjoy learning the history of these Power Metal pioneers; it's nice you did this there doesn't seem to be much documentary of these guys as I like to know them as I'm a fan of Power Metal. Their 2 Keepers albums are great classics and their masterpieces. It's great to know that Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen are back. And also, RIP Ingo Schwichtenberg. Will you also do Gamma Ray? Also do other Heavy and Power Metal bands, whether they're popular and especially if they're less known.
I actually stumbled onto helloween keeper 1&2 in the mid 90s back in high school, when we had bands like Testmant and Megadeth for metal and they absolutely blew my mind. I instantly fell in love with the lighter, neo-classical songs with tons of melody in the guitars and vocals. It pretty much was going against everything I heard out there at the time.
Love the new video... Helloween one of my all time fav. bands that I've seen almost 20 times live (I've lost count). I would say that The Dark Ride should be the extra credit. For no other reason that the title track is one of the most underrated Helloween songs of all time. Also it's the "experimental" album of Andi's tenure at Helloween... I personally had a very hard time accepting Sasha into the band. For no other reason than back at that time I had long black hair and it was a joke "look Thomas has joined Helloween" and "look Sasha has stolen your clothes"
Was fortunate to listen keepers of seven keys part 1 n 2. Vocal n the drumming and their vision was the trademark for tat album. Hopefully they hav a bio movie for them. Rock on always 2023🤟🏼
Thanks for this work, metal teacher! Nice! A very important band for metal in general. By the way, you forgot to mention the awesome flute solo on "Raise The Noise" from 7 Sinners, haha.
I've always loved Helloween! I highly respect them even more now that they play together with pretty much all former and current members. They put the band and the legacy for the fans ahead of their own egos. Not many bands out there willing to better themselves for the fans. A cool fact is that the drummer plays on the drum set of the old drummer that passed away.
Keeper of the Seven Keys in my humble opinion is one of the greatest metal records of all time......magnificent record not a bad song on the record

This video should bring more exposure towards them cause their still making great music, especially their latest album being one of my favorites from 2021.
Why wasn't there a video for my favorite Helloween song,Keeper of the Seven Keys ?
@@TabithaReminiec3399 now, that would had been EPIC!!
@@DarkMetalSpider I agree
After decades of waiting I finally got to see them live this month. Incredible!!!!!!
One of my favorite bands of all time!! They are just insanely talented. Even their lowest preforming albums are still amazing.
Deris saved the band, not only is he a great performer but he s also a great songwriter and a natural leader.
You are certainly right - Andi is amazing and was exactly the right person Helloween needed when Kiske left.
Michael Weikath became the leader of Helloween after Kai Left
Andi Deris is a natural second leader
@@brownholecharles Kiske was fired, because his ego got the better of him.... He tried to change the sound of the band....
Among other problems
@@TabithaReminiec3399 no, he left he was not "fired" why would they fire the singer who sang on the albums that made them famous
What a great retrospective on my favorite band. I kind of wish more people knew about Helloween, the music is amazing, and the story is remarkable. For all (well, most) of the original members to be together forty years later, is something most bands never get to experience.
Mankind is easily one of the most underrated track of Helloween.
From the beginning this band was destined for glory and boy did they deliver
Great video as always. Cheers!
How so? Not saying I disagree just curious
And the 5 seconds before the first "disease disease disease, my friend..."
@@VARVIS_- That specific combination of hyper-melodic notes in contrast to the prior section just makes me feel closer to God.
I was listening to Walls of Jericho just a while ago and got a notification on your channel covering my favorite band
Helloween was my 2004 high school days favorite and still is as of today...if my friend didn't recommend me them...i would have miss a big and amazing band
thank you for the video and now i will listen to their new recent album since i didn't knew about it till now
my favorite album has been always Walls of Jericho and the 3 keeper of the seven keys albums...again thank you Metal School 🎃
Please continue making videos with this length. Fans enjoy the small details. Thank you for this!
Better Than Raw is my favorite Helloween CD. I know that is almost sacrilege, but I like it just a bit more than Keepers II
I love their early work with Kai but this band has been anything except consistent. The post 80s albums are pure cringe. Too many lineup changes. The later releases have redeemable qualities although there is a lot to sift through just to find the gems.
@@WinterInTheForest their line up has been pretty consistent their 94' line up held up until 2002 so far
What do you think of the name Hallowe'en as a name for a female Power Metal band ?
You are doing the lords work dude. Thank you for making this awesome content.
Thank you Metal,School for reminding me of my old memories and love to hear more 😊
Perfect example of how a young band should progress. They were average players on Walls Of Jericho and by Keeper Of The Seven Keys II they were stomping a mudhole on every other Metal band musically and creatively. All the bands that sprouted from Helloween says it all. From Gamma Ray to Masterplan all excellent bands.
Not in our days. 🤠
Average? Lol.
I would hardly say they were 'average' players!
Haha wish that the standard of average in 'Walls of Jericho' was that. The playing in that record is sick
Average??? Holy shit.
Boy, I miss the early days of metal where bass players would actually take flight here and there and weren’t just constantly glued to the rhythm guitar.
Still one of my favourite bands, all these years later
Not a huge fan of this band but this channel is excellent. Thank you for caring enough to make good videos!
Not a huge fan of your tastes, as far as I knew nobody asked.
Thanks Metal School, once again you nailed it mate ,I loved this band as a teenager and still do, certainly one of the most melodic and speed driven metal bands of all time ,I love all there 80s stuff and better than raw was just brilliant , and gambling and 7sinners has some great stuff on them , will check out there latest album, once again thanks mate keep up the great work ,
And keep banging that head 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Pink Bubbles Go Ape is speed/power metal without neoclassical cliches. That's why it sounds weird :)
Kids of the Century is an excellent song.
And c'mon, Crazy Cat from Chameleon is great :)
But definitely the two odd albums in the Helloween's chest. Great video, by the way! :)
Pink Bubbles had a cleaner sound
My only question is : why add horns to a great hard rock song ,when they didn't belong ?
Metal School is a great channel. Every next video gets better.
Thank you! 🤘🏻
I've listened to all their songs. None of them were bad, everything's enjoyable.
Hell yes! Rest in power Ingo!
RIP Ingo
RIP Smitty - my best friend and co-Helloween freak
Let the metal in and it'll never leave!!!
Better late, than never
So tragic what happened to Ingo. He was an incredible drummer.
Eagle Fly Free.. I'm Alive .. keeper of the seven keys are imo his most stand out works and i'm not even a drummer , i play bass , but i highly regard Ingo , always will.. Truly enjoy his plays

Excellent episode of Metal School, I've loved Helloween since childhood and its a joy to see they get the time they deserve here!
Incredible work! This is awesome
Calm down
Dark, My introduction to Helloween was the video for the song Halloween... which was hacked up for time restraint issues ( commercials)
@@mooseheadjack1 Andi 's more of a combination of both Kai Hansen ( who's voice has gotten better with time ) & Michael Kiske ( vocal wise of course)
In a honest comparison: Bruce Dickenson's solo lps were much better than Michael Kiske's were
First of all thanks for doing this! It's a huge undertaking, but it was an hour that just flew by - well done.

One of the greatest bands of ALL TIME! \m/
Thanks for the video, a great journey into the greatest band on earth. Although I listen'em every day. Pumpkins forever!
My favorite albums are (in order of preference)
1. Walls of Jericho/ Helloween (2021 album)
2. Straight out of hell
3. Gambling with the devil (my favorite with Andi Deris)
4. My God given right
5. Keepers 1
I've been learning about them since I've been a fan for only a year. Love them.
Wow! Those are My favourites albums too
Que puedo decir, esta lista es un desproposito sin sentido pero se comprende al ver que solo llevas un año escuchando Helloween. I always try to listen to live bands, and see if they are really good because of this record.

Will they come back to Montréal in 2025? I'd love to see them!
Saw that show in Cleveland Ohio. Was epic all around. Was bummed Kai left right b4 my show.

Yes. Love Gamma Ray as well.
I've been waiting for someone to make a documentary/story about Helloween. Great you did that. Well done.
What an absolutely outstanding video this is. A crazy amount of work must have went into it. This channel will undoubtedly blow up in the very near future. Keep up the good work 🤘

Thank you to Metal School. Fantastic doco. Keep them coming 🤘

My favourite album 💿 is “Keeper of the Seven Keys : The Legacy” and my favourite song 🎶 is by far “If I Could Fly” 😉

Hello and Glückauf from Germany!
I have learned new things and found old things again! Thanks for your work!
One of my favourite bands. Thanks for this. Very well done.
