Definitely give Legacy another listen. Invisible Man and Occasion Avenue are all-timers. Pleasure Drone is an underrated classic. I'm convinced if they had made it a single disc removing maybe the last 3 tracks, and not made it a Keeper album, it would be considered a gem. Definitely more consistent than the rest of the Deris-era catalogue (except maybe Dark Ride).
I loved the classic Helloween albums quite a bit, and of course Gamma Ray later on was top notch. There was lots of great stuff in the Deris years, but I had a hard time finding a full album that was just magic for me front to back.
Hi Rick!!! i discover the band with Keeper's I and loved Part II, yes the first one is really short and makes you wanting some more..... to me it was a big shock learning Kai had left the band so i never listen to "Pink...." and "Chamaleon" at first and just got back to them with "The time of the Oath" and some later ones with Deris and the reunion, now i have to check some of the other ones that i have on digital download. cheers and be well
Yeah and sadly Kai left like 12-14 years after I found out about them and I did the same thing 😆 I just noticed a huge difference on the albums without him…

My favorite album is Master Of The Rings to me Helloween never really had a weak album sept for Chameleon
I respect that for sure… theres songs on there I really really love! And for sure with Chameleon 😆
