Carburetor -
1. When air enters the inlet, it is sucked in such a way that proper mixing & atomization with fuel particles takes place.
2. It promotes to make homogeneous mixture of air & fuel for proper stoichiometric combustion in engine.
3. In petrol engines, the combustion should be such that there is always rich & favourable fuel economy so that the resultant Indicated power production is uniform.
4. It controls the rate of air-fuel consumption towards the engine as per intervention by operator.
