Nicaragua also has purple in their flag but very little, the reason it is so rare is that purple was historically a royal colour and purple dyes were the most expensive and so it was far cheaper to have a flag without any purple on it.
The only way they could produce it was through the use of sea snails or something like that, and you needed 1000s of them to get just a little bit of purple dye, so mass producing a flag with purple on was very difficult

I honestly wouldn’t have gotten most of these flags right myself if it wasn’t for Jack. I even got the Slovenia flag correct. Great video to test Jack’s ability with flags! 😀👍
For any budding vexilloligists out there, I have a feeling Jack got a lot of his trivia here from a book by Tim Marshall called Worth Dying For: The Power And Politics of Flags. Its a great read and I would recommend it to anyone interested in flags!

Dominica is in fact not the only country with the colour purple in it. Nicaragua also uses the colour purple in it's rainbow!

One thing I am usually pretty good at is even though I don't speak any other languages, I can almost always tell what a language is just from hearing or reading a little bit. Which I don't think is particularly impressive but I've never met anyone else that could do that as well

I learnt most flags from a discord bot when playing with friends... Really proves if you're having fun and there's a competitive aspect you can learn almost anything

i mean to be honest learning every country flag isn't that hard. But its still impressive and a cool talent to know. Its cool to know how far Jack came in form of Geography I've been a geography/flag/history nerd most of my life and it was so weird to meet someone not good at that topic just learn it i only know people who are good at it or bad at it no one who actually learnt that much.

I'm super interested in countries now that I've pretty much memorized most flags with looking at it though I don't think I've memorized all of them to the point I can name them without looking yet.
In our school system in belgium, it's required
I learnt where all the counties of England are, states of the USA, where all the countries and territories are in the world, all the flags of countries in the world. Just like being the guy where people just ask you and you give them the answer easily
