Air Bagged 1985 Chevy C10 Truck dragging on the body - Built by WCD Fabrication

- Air Bagged 1985 Chevy C10 truck that lays on the body. Lots of fabrication has been done to this sick truck. Here are some of the details.
Motor has been raised 1" and brought forward 2". Firewall was not modified.
Lower part of the frame has been cut off and reinforced.
Airbags front and rear.
Shocks mounted though the A-arms.
Mustang steering rack.
Air tank and valves have been mounted below the bed.
Engine driven compressor is mounted in place of AC compressor.
Bed floor has been raised up to clear the C-notch and four links.
Fuel tanks have been shortened for extra ground clearance.
8.75" lift in the front and 7.75" lift in the rear.

@MCM5595 The truck still tows, the frame is stronger, the interior is brand new, the bed is fully functional, it rides smoother, has updated steering, the motor was completely re built and it can do everything it could before. just because something sits on the ground it doesn't make it useless. Not every truck needs to be designed for off road use. Open your mind.

If you tried to ride that low down here in Pasadena Tx you would fkkk your shit up. Our roads are no where near that smooth. Nice truck and fab work
I'm 1 of those guys that lift old trucks and go mudding and hate lowriders but I've gotta say.... that's the best fuckin anti-theft design in the world hahaha its sick dude props

when the truck sold and shipped to Australia the tires were still good. The truck was build to drag. So I could drive it as low as possible, and if I hit a bump and dragged or scaped......GOOD, thats what I wanted. thats why pretty muck anyone who bags a truck does it. to be as low as possible. and If you followed the build you would know it was safe, strong and extremely well executed.
Gotta love bagged/bodied trucks, but man i hate the narrow wheel base width.
different strokes for different folks. i drive a lifted dodge on 35s and couldnt afford to lower it with my job and where i have to go, but i definitely respect the time and effort on thee cars even though its not what i prefer lol

Oh shit. Thanks for the heads up Kyle. I was going to drag it everywhere I went! Man. I'm glad you said something. Also I would have destroyed my tires! Idiot. The truck was built to drive an inch off the ground. I have had bagged trucks as cars my whole life so I know how to drive. And so does Willie (the guy driving). And the camber goes away after an inch of lift. Those hankooks lasted 2 years while I had it and when the truck sold and shipped to Australia the tires were still good.

Its just ur life style and preference....I have both a lifted and a bagged truck- Just like some people wanna be the highest truck out there and sum wanna have their shit so low it drags.....Just depends on where and who u grow up with- if u grow up with hot rodders theres 90% chance u will own or luv hot rods and thats how it goes for most everything. And besides, dragging it and breaking it is half the fun, turn around and rebuild and make something new or diff for the second round and so on.
Wow why all the hate on this beautiful truck and the man why clearly bagged it to drag it the sound of the air pressure being released out the bags is an addiction not a choice and scrapes flying out from behind your truck is one of the reasons mini truckers drop there shit ps mini truck not low rider js and im only 15 years old and have had a slammed vehicle on my property since i was atleast 8 . Look everyone seems to throwing in their two cents, so here's mine. My opinion is this, 4x4 trucks should be either stock ride height or lifted, 2WD trucks should be stock or lowered, I find lifted 2WD trucks just stupid. And dropped 4x4's are pointless. Now like said this is just my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own, but you have to at least respect the work put in to this. Good job man well done build

I really like how you did the bed, still got a stock feel, what did you guys do to tuck the gas tank up? That's exactly how I want my 85 to sit without shaving the rockers to the doors or cuttin up the floors...

lol yes i said "anti theft" do to the fact the bags are compressor driven and the compressor is motor driven which the controls are in cab. so you have to either break in start it and build pressure, or bring a compressor and splice it in. how about you go steal it and let me know how easy and quiet it is to do so lol
Compressors runs off batteries no need to start it if you got it set up right

Honestly, I'm not saying it's useless, it's just that I'd be interested in seeing a nice old bonneville or something sitting low, but a pickup? Like I said, to each their own, but it's definitely not for me.

WOW...It really sucks what you did to this truck...i guess if this is your style, go for it...also... @The031Killer who do you think made trucks? and for what purposes? You can have the big cities where they apparently like to kill trucks and scrape the body out from under the frame using the pavement as sand paper.
It pains me to hear you scrape on the ground like that. Either learn how to angle that shit or raise it just a little to clear it.

Well, it's running an ACSO 8 valve aluminum manifold pack, so switching to parkers or smc's would actually be a down grade.... But, thanks for assuming you know everything based on noises filmed by a phone. Or asking what silencers, if any, were installed at the time.

wyominglost man it ain't ruined, there is a billion of these things around. I'm gonna be getting a clean 2wd rolling chassis free. And I know where I can get a cab free. I know where at least 30 of these are just sitting in fields and at least 12 in town in alley ways sitting where i live and I live in a very small area
